  1. I sure hope so... Because all these signings and trades, will not make any difference if they don't help their pitching as well. I have for the last 3-4 years said the team offensively is there, it's the pitching that costs this teams games. I want a Halladay type starting pitcher, someone who is capable of going 8-9 innings if needed, and a closer like the famous Rivera. If they can find a way to do this, this team for the first time in years will be able to compete to make it into the playoffs, and possibly go deep in the playoffs.
  2. Blue Jays have also signed 1st Baseman Justin Smoak, who they did claim off waivers in October, and didn't sign last night to allow him to be a free agent, but have now signed him today.
  3. Yeah not sure since the Owen Hart incident, I'm sure it has something to do with safety reasons. Just would of been so epic when HHH was watching the entrance, and all of a sudden Sting comes down and lands right behind HHH.
  4. I thought he was going to come down from the rafters, took him a little while to enter after his music went on.
  5. Another bump incase people have a problem with this player still too, rather not see a new topic on it.
  6. What I think will happen is, Lesner and Cena will have their match, but after it's over who ever wins, will end up losing the belt anyways because Rollins will use his money in the bank to steal the belt. Once that has happened then you will see Reigns have a match with Rollins for the belt, and Reigns will win, becoming the new face of the WWE.
  7. Oh sorry Laser , I guess I missed the official source list listed in this thread... Wouldn't you be so kind to show it to me?
  8. Sounds like Brock Lesnar might be heading back to the UFC....
  9. AA and Gibbons have to go, this team will go no where with these 2. Personally I didn't like Gibbons when he first coached the jays and failed, but to bring him back after he failed was just asking for failure. Then you have AA who never played or knew the game of baseball growing up, and somehow he is running this team ridiculous. And to hear when your teams in a wild card race, upper management is saying to sit Cody Rasmus, so they can see there prospects play? I'm sorry, but that's just complete non sense and goes to show that the people running this team, have no clue on what they are doing, and don't have a will to win.
  10. I can remember people saying he was worth way more, but he felt he was worth 2M and was happy playing for 2M, even though he was on the first line producing with the Sedins. At that time he was worth more, he was doing everything and I'm sure his agent said he could make much more on the open market, but he wanted to get it done before that and was happy with 2M.
  11. He's not a greedy player like most athletes, if taking less money helps the team to get more valuable players he's the kind of guy who would do that, he has a good heart. Especially also being an undrafted player who didn't have an NHL career, I think he feels more than fortunate to be able to be playing in the NHL.
  12. Raw was just horrible on Monday, they had 3 separate diva matches in 1 night, 2 is normally the max, but 3 just goes to show they have nothing anymore. What this company needs is competition again, because there is no competition they have nothing to worry about. and that's why we keep seeing the same old boring stuff all the time. With competition they will be forced to changed to become better, but until that happens things will just be the same from now on out.
  13. There was a reason why he took a pay cut in his last salary, because he knew he wasn't a top 6 forward for producing points, and didn't want to be labeled that from a contract point of view. But after the year he did have with the Sedins, it was kind of hard to not reward him with a good paying contract. It sucks because at 2-3M he is the best player to have, but at 4.5M unless he's producing points it's a waste of money.
  14. Maybe a team like Calgary, Columbus, Ottawa, all these teams have a lot of cap space.
  15. I always liked Burrows, and still do, but for what he's being paid now, he really needs to step it up or he will be traded.
  16. Found it interesting to see that Martina Hingis came out of retirement, and is now playing for the finals in women's doubles for the first time since 1998. I always thought she was one of the best and could of been even better, but injuries and drugs ruined it, but nice to see she's at the top again.
