    If Benning isn’t able to move out any contracts, can he just send Sutter to the AHL to get cap compliant. Put Ferland on LTIR and then call Sutter back up within like a day so he doesn’t have to leave the team?

      I hear ya @Roger Neilsons Towel, but I don't think the ~$1M savings is enough.  CapFriendly shows the Canucks are at $83M and the Cap is $81.5M.  I'm hoping JB has more up his sleeve than just papering Sutter to the AHL.

      @goalie13 Not agreeing with them just thought some didn’t understand the point they were making. I would have to agree with you that Sutter’s $1M alone wouldn’t be enough.
