English is not your strong point but you make some good points. This team needed to stink, and it has stunk. Now we have the prospects, especially when we get another top pick this year (and hopefully trade for a few more picks). If there isn't a big step forward next year then it's a bad situation all around.

I'd argue that going to the Cup finals game 7 does a lot of things. Provides some of the most epic memories you will have had as a Canuck fan for a lot of us. Shows players what it takes to win in the playoffs, generates revenue for team and local businesses. Most importantly, you probably got to watch a good team for 82 games plus a great playoff run. Though I agree that what I really care about is the cup. It's why I was on team tank so hard. Do everything you can to win it, my worst nightmare as a fan is a middle of the pack team.

If the Canucks have 3 rookies score 60+ points and almost beat the president's trophy winners in the 1st round... I'm pretty sure 0% of Canuck fans would be like... what have we accomplished so far? Please. As soon as this team makes the playoffs there will be threads: Rebuild Complete! Toronto is having a really good season and the only team to have a better goal differential is a ridiculous Tampa team. If the Canucks next two seasons will look like the Leafs last and current season, everyone here would be more than happy. It's crazy the success some of our former coaches are having. You made one big mistake there though. Trying to use facts/logic to argue with oldnews is an exercise in futility.

What are you smoking? Does that sound like a man with a plan to have a bottom of the league team for multiple years? When Benning got hired a lot of people on CDC (yourself included) said a rebuild on the fly is better than what Edmonton/Toronto did because if you have a bad team it will ruin your prospects and you'll suck for 10 years like Edmonton did. Also apparently you don't need top picks to rebuild. Then when Vancouver started to suck suddenly being awful doesn't ruin our prospects, we have one of the best prospect pools in the league and Boeser is doing just fine on a team trending for another bottom 3 finish. Our top picks, are now being praised as a big reason why this rebuild is working by the very same people that said we didn't need top picks. Benning traded draft picks to build a team around the Sedins to go for another run. That plan failed in a spectacular fashion and it was scrapped at the last deadline.

This is the softest Canuck team I've ever seen, at least if this was a skilled team then there'd be an excuse.

Pretty rave reviews.

Could be said about a lot of guys so far, but it's early he has 79 games to turn his season around.

IT 9/10 Horror movies are absolute garbage 95% of the time, this is the rare exception. I really enjoyed it.

That's true, women, gays, everyone is treated better than ever and there is less poverty than ever. That said, both the left and the right are getting more polarized in a lot of powerful countries. The more of a global village that earth becomes and the more advanced of technology we have, there is potential for bigger and bigger consequences. A big conflict can happen because on sudden events, it doesn't have to be a slow moving disaster. For example, a new plague, even bigger mass migration due to climate change or if a terrorist sets off a nuke in NYC.. then all bets are off pretty quick.

That just shows you how hard it is to add offense or a star player, you gotta draft those guys. Bergevin got rid of some huge pieces in desperation. Montreal is stuck in the middle, not good enough to win and will probably just slowly deteriorate. This is what I've been worried about since Benning signed Miller & Vrbata instead of tanking. Will he add any stars before he rebuilds the team to be a playoff team.

I once got a 6 month long workout routine from Men's Fitness magazine called The King of All Workouts, by Ian King (at the time Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Australian Olympic team). I've done this workout with 4 or 5 people and all have loved it. It always got good results and is fun. I highly recommend it.

I used to think that a next great war wouldn't happen at least not in my lifetime, but society can fall apart in the blink of an eye.
