  1. I'm pretty sure that bike is pedaling forward man
  2. Just saw the waved off goal on the Canucks PP. Absolutely embarrassingly terrible call. What a joke. The only thing more ridiculous and embarrassing than the call itself is that its 2013 and we still haven't implemented something to clarify whether a call is right or not. The coaches challenge is an absolute must for next season.
  3. You should be ashamed and embarrassed on so many levels.
  4. Endless League of Legends. Season is ending soon though,
  5. Brutal trade for the Islanders unless Vanek signs with them in the offseason. Even if he does its still an overpayment. Unbelievable.
  6. Yeah, it was quite windy tonight. My power went out for about 2 minutes at around 11:30am.
  7. Except the entire point is that we don't get into the playoffs, so we get high draft picks?
  8. I don't understand why people are asking "where will we get the 120-150 points from?", that's his entire point, that we wont, which will make us a bottom feeder team, hence how we will get the high draft picks to rebuild. (I don't like the idea, I'm just explaining it)
  9. It is never a good idea to let your two best players walk for nothing. What if we were the Penguins and Crosby and Malkin were the same age as the Sedins are now, and (possibly), declining, do you think it would be a good idea to tell them you don't want to resign them and let them walk for nothing? We still have a chance to win now, it could be with the core how it is now or it could be with a youth injection, but even if we don't win soon, letting the Sedins walk for nothing is not the right idea. At least get something for them if you are going to rebuild. We are not as good as we were during our cup run at this moment, but we could get a lot better in the next few years. Our youth could step up, Booth could get back on his skates and become a very good player and with the cap going up we could afford all sorts of UFA signings and trades. Now isn't the time to rebuild.
  10. While I agree with your point, I don't agree with your logic. Sighting a terrible contract as a reasoning for why a different player should or shouldn't make X amount of dollars is silly. Burrows is worth 4.5m, because he does kill penalties, score goals, makes plays, is solid defensively and is a leader and character player on our roster, not because Filppula is payed a stupid amount of money to suck at hockey, comparatively speaking, of course.
  11. I most certainly don't solely blame Luongo. My comment was Luongcentric because that was the topic of our discussion. The entire team choked/underperformed. Hopefully we get some answers this season on what the reasoning for that is.
  12. You are making illogical excuses. Chicago series he imploded and got pulled (and no, legendary players don't let in softies in the playoffs and get labeled chokers because of it). 8 goals in one game? Scored on Luongo? It doesn't matter how many goals we scored, we are talking about how Luongo played, and he played awful in Boston. He choked in Boston. It doesn't matter if we would or wouldn't have won the LA series, he didn't play well.
  13. I agree. Luongo didn't play well in any of the series I listed, but he wasn't the only problem. They were 7th or 8th depending on that last game with San Jose.
  14. My definition of choking is taking an opportunity where the odds are stacked in your favor (or your teams favor, for that matter) and underperforming and subsequently squandering your lead or opportunity (LA Series, CHI Series, BOS series). There is no such thing as almost winning.
  15. Because, all he really has had is regular season success. He has a history of choking in the playoffs (so does our entire team I suppose). How can someone that never even won the award for best goalie in the given season (or in the playoffs for that matter), be legendary, or top 3?
  16. Yeah I was counting the Jennings as his one team award, cause he relies on the backup and defense etc. I agree he is elite, but there is a big difference between elite and legendary/top 3 of all time
  17. I mean, he has won lots of games and has good numbers but he hasn't won any individual awards and only 1 team award (I think). Definitely not a legend. Definitely not a top 3 like someone in this thread seems to think. I mean, he hasn't even won the award for best goalie in the given season how could he possibly be one of the best of all time?
