That, and a lot of people buy it to "stick it to the big banks" because now they've circumvented the Rothschilds. Like, nobody here makes that kind of money where they can blow it away on crypto and go "oh well." Very few people can afford the risk that those poor saps with Quadirga suffered. Plus, your money with the bank is insured through third parties and consumer protection agencies up to x amount in case the bank ever goes bust. With Crypto exchanges like Quadriga, your money is insured up to a grand total of zero dollars.

Let's just use the Gold as example

Gold is real, you can touch it, you can weight it and it was used as real currency for CENTURIES so you can actually value it because everyone wants it and it's stable

Virtual currencies are just like this, virtual, they don't actually exist, you can't touch it, you can't weight it and nobody use it as currency...

Let's assume that tomorrow somebody decides to use those coins from Mario world as currency and guess what it will be possible...

Everybody can create currencies the deal is can you use it on real basis? Can you buy a soda or a car with it?

Bitcoin is a frenzy and that's it, no insurance, no background and no use and so it's not different from a virtual video game currency...

People want be "off the grid" by using bitcoin but they need use the same "grid" to buy bitcoin by using real money. Doesn't sound weird for you?

Basically you need real money to buy fake money then to sell it in order to have real money again...

So why I would have bitcoin if I can't do anything with it?

    • Wat 1
  2. Bitcoin is basically a frenzy money but without actual applications

You use actual money to buy it and sell it to have actual money so technically you cannot buy anything with Bitcoin

For me it's nothing more than a pyramid scam. You're buying something inflated artificially because "everybody is buying it so it must be awesome"

Then you realise no country actually use it as "de facto" currency and you cannot trade anywhere else...

No thanks I stick with Gold...

  3. You guys think USA is the main "trigger" of Maduro's opposition?

Nope far from it in fact this time is BRAZIL

The new government HATES Maduro and the entire south America follow the same idea, Venezuelans living in Brazil want the Maduro not only deposed they want see him dead...

  4. Ready for the list?

    Average life:

    1) people in the buffet taking centuries to choose the food they want (especially the very old people)

Listen douchebags there's 2 simples choices "I get the food" and "I don't get the food" you don't have to talk a book just to do that because there's 100 people behind you (including me) who are hungry!

    2) douchebags that go to the market and when at the line to pay for the whole stuff forget something making everyone wait.

Listen idiot go to the line AFTER YOU FINISH YOUR CHOICES.

Also be ready to pay, don't talk about your entire life with the cashier just pay the damm bill and move on!

    3) people who drive at 60km/h then reduced to 20 right in front of the speedometer radar then rush to 120 after the radar

    4) people who jamm the elevator because they're talking to somebody

Damm asshole don't jamm the elevator! Other people need to use it! If you really have to talk with that person just release the elevator or use WhatsApp

    5) that moron on your condominium who takes a millennium to enter/exit on the garage because he/she always forget the &^@#ing control or has the brain skills of a wooden tree

    On Aviation

    1) that punk on the airport that demands exclusive king style treatment despite the fact he/she payed ultra promotional economy fare

    2) the moron who who goes right in front of the gate and see the flight number on the screen and asks

"Is this the gate of the flight xxxxx to xxxxx?"

No sherlock it's just a gamble the plane can be anywhere in the airport

    3) when the tower says "maintain position there's a traffic on 10/15 mile final" despite the fact the sky is clear, the aircraft is going very slowly and you can takeoff immediately

    4) our aviation authority agency who is by far the most incompetent stuff on earth composed by punks who have no idea how aviation works

I'm now positive the typhoon will win this.

Airbus open to a fighter plane assembly plant in Quebec ahead of federal bids

MIRABEL, Que. -- Airbus is not ruling out the possibility that Quebec will host a fighter plane assembly line and satellite construction plant if the European giant manages to win federal contracts in Canada.

    https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/airbus-open-to-a-fighter-plane-assembly-plant-in-quebec-ahead-of-federal-bids-1.4253284

Told you. It's like Boeing willing to make the F18 in Brazil if FAB decides for the F18

Airbus/EADS wants their fighter making success outside Europe and they will do everything possible to get a large contract...

Rafale/Dassault is out then?  I wasn't entirely sold on them but it makes sense due to the needs Canada has set down for criteria

That really leaves America, The Typhoon and Gripen.  I am still unsure about the Gripen as it has some logistical issues and with Bolsonaro in office in Brazil and one of the most essential criteria being unmet due to the single engine of the Gripen IK can see it being narrowed down to a fight between Lockheed and Boeing and the Typhoon and with the promise of R&D and actual manufacturing jobs plus the new partnership between Bombardier/Airbus it just makes sense.

But that being said I would not put anything past our government in terms of leveraging a purchase through US arms in Lockheed or Boeing against Tariffs or punitive measures the US administration has slapped on canada.  Essentially we buy from you, you drop them entirely.

Here though is a defence paper in recommendation of the Gripen so....

    http://www.canadiandefencereview.com/Featured_content?blog/110

Whether it's a good idea to us or not we don't get a say do we?

De deal with the Gripen not only involves the fighter itself but also a long partnership with SAAB

It's a technology transfer any after the initial 36 jets the remaining ones will be made locally by EMBRAER adapting it to local conditions, a 2 seater Gripen and a Sea version of it meaning Brazil didn't buy only a jet but the entire platform of it...

This will be the 1st step so in a near future Embraer can make new supersonic jets by itself

It's like China making Chinese versions of Russian Sukhois.

Eurofighter Typhoon to bid to replace Canadian CF-18 fleet

Eurofighter, a joint venture among Airbus, BAE Systems and Leonardo, was assumed to be one of the bidders in the competition to replace the RCAF’s fighter fleet with 88 advanced jets, but it hadn’t yet publicly acknowledged its desire to play for the contract. Simon Jacques, head of Airbus defense and space in Canada, said at a company event in Montreal that his firm intends to submit a proposal for the Typhoon.

“We are very engaged,” he says. “We want to propose the Typhoon, the most advanced new generation multi, swing-role fighter on the market today."

In October, RCAF issued a draft request for proposal to replace its aging CF-18A/B fleet. Ottawa listed five suppliers eligible to compete: Dassault Aviation, maker of the Rafale; Saab, maker of the JAS 39 Gripen; Airbus Defense – on behalf of the Eurofighter joint venture, maker of the Typhoon; Lockheed Martin, maker of the F-16 and F-35; and Boeing, maker of the F/A-18 Super Hornet and F-15E Strike Eagle. Only those five will be allowed to submit proposals.

The RCAF plans to receive initial proposals from bidders between summer and winter 2019. A contract is anticipated to be awarded during the winter months of 2021-2022.

Canada wants initial aircraft to be delivered in 2025, with initial operational capability achieved by 2026. The government wants all aircraft delivered by 2031 or 2032, at which time the CF-18 fleet will be retired.

Jacques says the Eurofighter bid will include some sort of participation from Canadian manufacturers, though the type of involvement in the aircraft’s supply chain or extent was not specified.

"With our Canadian partners, it is going to be a Canadian solution and a good value for Canada," he says. "The RFP is coming out in mid of this year, right before the election."

    https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/eurofighter-typhoon-to-bid-to-replace-canadian-cf-18-455004/

With the join venture between Bombardier and Airbus this is totally possible even making the Eurofighter in Canada and renaming it as "Canadafighter"

Some Captains still believe only God can suggest things to them, others are more inclined, by training, to take input from members of the team.

This &^@#ing bull$&!# of "Captain is God" it's why terrible accidents happens

Today there's a thing called CRM (Crew Resource Management) meaning you have to know how delegate functions and when the common sense is good

Captain/Commander is NOT A GOD it's a damm &^@#ing human like anybody else with just more responsibility than the average person

If you have a Co-Pilot LISTEN HIM because his information might actually save your life and even if not the more information you have better

I always listen my co-pilots (If/when i have one) and i delegate him functions because he's not a dead weight there enjoying a joy ride

If you are on the right seat and I'm your captain get ready to pass me as much information as you can because good Captains always have good Co-Pilots

Short Term - buy qty 50 of the F-35.

Long Term - Canadian start up Avro program.

Canada really needs to get back into the business of producing airplanes and ships.

Slowly they are trying to rejuvenate the ship building industry.

People always talk about the Avro program and seemed to be a great fighter

    Wondering WHY it was scrapped

The f35 is what the air force wants.

I know but the question is

Everybody knows the F35 is extremely expensive to the point Italy is reducing the orders and even Israel is considering some local improvements and even a life extension of their F15 and F16

The F35 is advanced but it's simply way too expensive not only to buy but to keep it even considering the basic version...

Maybe an upgraded version of the F15 would do just fine since it's a proven design

  11. humpf!

I gonna have a terrible thing to deal on this NFL season...

    I support the Seattle Seahwaks...

however my dentist support the New England Patriots.

cannot make fun of her or my teeth will suffer.

    damm!

  12. Not to say I will do something like that, but I do t think it's his fault to take advantage of the system. If you don't want people abusing your system, change your return policy.

no I really mean "rent an AC"

some people do that with the portable ones, you rent for the summer just like a house, you pay for it and them you return after the season. so if you don´t need them all year long you will pay less and still have something...

or learn to deal with the heat. makes good for people since the winter in Canada makes the refrigerator warmer than the temperature outside...

  13. I've never done it but I agree with the guys that want to buy and then sell the AC later on. Need these loopholes to survive in this economy and it's also a great way to get back at the corporate pigs.

why not just rent the AC?

OR buy a portable dual one (cool and heat), you can go with them everywhere...

  14. Heat's fine because it's not humid.

Rather this than what it was a couple days ago when it was cloudy and humid.

    That's crap.

that resumes the weather in Amazon, including the cities

hot, wet (rain) and humid. you sweat all the time. don´t drive in Manaus or Belém. you´ll be very angry

  15. why do you hate us so much aero? :(

I don´t hate Canadians. pretty much the opposite :)

you people (Canadians) are cool, polite and not arrogants like many "mericans". but looks like you enjoy the winter so much that Canadians feel wierd during the summer

like. 30 Celsius and many people enjoy that. but people in Canada (and maybe in Russia) miss the winter!

  16. My friend got married yesterday and it was a nightmare. Beautiful day for the pictures, I'm sure they'll turn out great. But we sweated away all our makeup and I was literally dripping sweat all over the place.

Wonder if this will keep up, or if it'll actually cool down into July and August. And I wonder if it has any bearing on what kind of a winter we'll have. Heat wave summer = cold snap winter?

    can´t understand the Canadians...

you like marry during winter? why not summer? it´s hot, nice to do stuff outside, go to the beach or lake. you can´t do that when snows and play hockey wearing a dress isn´t nice for the woman...

  17. Cause this saves me $500. Not my fault Costco has an awesome return policy

500 divided in 3 years. but it and keep it till it brakes. or but a dual one. able to heat and cool (we have this, goes from 17C to 33C)

he have one here and it costed US$ 1000 but so far it´s working well, and in Curitiba snowed last year. yes it snows in some cities in Brazil...

  18. Too. Hot.

AC at work = walk outside to be SHOCKED BY the intense heat . Get stuck in traffic x 2 = want to die in my car because it would be easier than navigating around idiots in bumper to bumper. Brush fire in Richmond again. End of the world is near. I think I'm already in hell, paying for all my sins. Help.

    oh Canada...

    you complain about "traffic"...

    THIS is traffic and heat.

    Manaus:

    Djalma-Batista-Manaus-constantes-princip

    DIA-B1-TRANSITO-ALBERTO-CESAR-ARAUJO-ARQ

of couse sometimes you might find one of these near your house after all it a city in the middle of the jungle:

    jacare.png

4,5 meters and 300kg on your garden. you pet must stay at home...

  19. So I bought an Air Conditioner at Costco with full intention of returning it before the 90 day return period is up. Can I buy another one right after I return the first? Will they catch onto my scam? Maybe I'll wait a day and pay cash. I'm just worried about the last week of August/Early Sept :(

why not keep it and use on the next summer?
