  1. Elias won the equivalent of the Hart trophy, which would be the more prestigious MVP
  2. Big night for Lind tonight
  3. I counter them with Chris Terry, Chris Bourque, and Phil Varone
  4. I believe the translation factor for the AHL is 0.47, so Pettersson's #'s are statistically quite a bit better than Strome's.
  5. Juju with a beautiful assist on the PP
  6. He took his man and the forward didn't take the trailing d-man
  7. Yeah, apparently his centre is one of Swedens worst, so I'm hoping the coach makes a change there because they don't seem to have chemistry. I wouldn't mind seeing him with Andersson, or EP being C for the top line.
  8. Yeah seems the illness took some of his energy away, as his last game was quite dominant and he was arguably one of the best players on the ice. I've caught a few of his games for Vaxjo and his last game was much more what he plays like normally.
  9. Yes, he normally plays better 5v5 than he played today. You can watch his last game shift-by-shift and see the difference yourself.
  10. Thought Juolevi had a very mature performance again today.
  11. Don't think anyone mentioned it, but Lind got credited with a 4th assist that last game bringing his ppg up to 1.72. Also, he has 3-4-7 in 2 games after being cut
  12. Thought Backstrom's draft profile was pretty interesting as there's a lot of similarities to what people are saying about Pettersson.
  13. Backstrom was drafted at 183lbs so he's gained nearly 30lbs through his career. If EP could gain around 20-25 he'd be at 190lbs, which I have no doubt is more than enough.
  14. The AHL has a translation factor of 0.47, so the AHL and Allsvensken are nearly identical in that regard. Of course Dahlen is playing on bigger ice right now, but his numbers look very promising so far.
  15. This kid is ridiculous almost an assist per game as a 19 year old rookie. Future looks bright folks
  16. The players near him are almost all over 30 years old the op was referring to the under-20 age seasons for players like Forsberg.
  17. Boeser is now tied for 10th in goals and 23rd for pts in the entire NHL
  18. Never would have thought EP would be leading league scoring after 18 games played. Note that he's played fewer games and has fewer TOI than those near him. Unbelievable
  19. Don't forget Tolvanen 16-13-29 in the KHL is unheard of for a rookie. Solid draft it's turning out to be
  20. Matt Barzal also had 5 assists tonight putting him at 3-10-13 in 14gp so looking like an intense calder race
  21. Yeah I don't think I've ever seen him not put in his full effort on both sides of the ice so far
