    He won't be ppg but he has the potential to be a bit better than Lucic (points wise). Lucic is a lot more nasty but Ritchie has much more offensive upside

    I'm gonna repeat what I said earlier. He is not being compared to Nash, Getzlaf, or Perry. He's comparing numbers. It's been made clear that to don't play similar styles. It's not the points that got him such a high ranking, it's all the tools he has. He get compared to Benn because they actually play a fairly similar style.

    How is it an insult to them? When was the last time you've seen a 230lbs power forward with skill like that? Not saying he'll be as successful as them but completely eliminating that possibility is just foolish, especially with the talent that he has

    Again, he was comparing numbers. He gave a full analysis of Ritchie but not once did he say "he shoots like ___" or "he skates like___". This isn't a battle, nobody is winning. We're all offering different opinions on a message board. Btw, weren't you fighting Snyper's "battle" for about 50 pages?

    I believe they were discussing the fact that playing at 230 is possible. Jagr was an example of someone who can skate at 230+ pounds. And then for whatever reason decided to compare the speed of a 170lbs kid to a 230+ lbs power forward. Umm what?

    hey genius, he was comparing numbers. If you bothered reading the previous posts, it's been made clear that Ritchie, Getzlaf, Lucic and Nash all play different styles. Nobody is comparing RItchie to any of those guys

    Yea I don't really see what he needs to prove in the OHL. Maybe his conditioning? He can do that with the big club though. Never really been a fan of putting a high pick in 3rd/4th line but it's good for him to get a sniff of the Sedins and Kesler while he can

    Instead of taking personal shots at me, you should probably watch some games and notice parts of Ritchie's game that you claim to know so much about. How is Tuch close to Ritchie? Because he's big?

    You've made it too clear that you've never watched Ritchie play and you have no idea how scouting works. You should probably watch some more junior hockey instead of stroking to Ehlers

    Others have had to cut down in weight to keep up with the game but Ritchie can keep up. He has good acceleration and is a very average skater. Not as slow as other PWFs. How does he lack in play making? Have you even watched this guy? He has very good vision. He's not lazy. Inconsistent, but not lazy. Inconsistency comes with almost every player.

    Aaah you're an Ehlers fan. I see. That explains a lot. He obviously isn't a god in every aspect of the game but he doesn't lack in anything either. You use sarcasm because you can't come up with any legitimate points "do not overhype the kid". You act as if Ehlers will be our savior...
