  1. I wouldn't mind seeing these two teams Duke it out in OT. Although Colorado really deserves this win
  2. When Varlamov got traded, everybody though Colorado lost the trade. Now it kinda looks like Washington got robbed considering they traded Forseberg for Erat
  3. I've thoroughly enjoyed every game except for pens and jackets. That game just seems a bit slower and just doesn't look like playoff hockey. But that's just my opinion
  4. Question: How much of a player's salary are we allowed to retain? And how many contracts can we retain? I was just thinking for the Canucks or any other team looking to tank, they don't need any cap space so they can retain players' contracts to sweeten the deal and maximize the values
  5. Nathan MacKinnon had 1.94 ppg in draft year. Nikolaj Ehlers currently has 2.1 ppg in his first year in CHL
  6. AV is really enjoying the big apple. Good for him, he's deserved it
  7. Filatov was simply not handled properly and he fled to Russia. If Ehlers comes here, we will hopefully treat him right and he won't go anywhere. It's wrong to compare somebody that plays or has played in the NHL. Every player is different and brings something different. He isn't Bure and will never be Bure but he has things to his game that Bure has and Bure has things in his game that Ehlers doesn't have
  8. I am rooting for Ritchie and I like him more than any of the other realistic options we have. However, I agree with you. He has the potential to be magnificent. He is only getting bigger and he is only getting better. He is having a playoffs like no other and the things people say about him couldn't be further from the truth. If developed well, he will be amazing. His speed and skill is something that can be worth tons
  9. I think we all want to see our draft pick make an impact and play right away but putting a 6th overall on the 4th line is the worst thing you can do
  10. If he scores by cutting to the net, size will help a lot and I was merely pointing out that he has the size to do so. He has the skill, he has a good shot and good vision
  11. spearing someone in the nuts is as low as it gets... zero respect wish Bert could be there to teach him a lesson
  12. I like Chicago and I like Toews but this series isn't going to be pretty for them
  13. He's already 230 lbs so he can dance with the best of em
  14. Ritchie is already bigger than Pyatt. Pyatt is big but isn't really physical. From what I've seen, Ritchie is real physical. Pyatt has an inaccurate shot while Ritchie seems to find the sweet spots. Ritchie also has better vision. I don't know about skating since I haven't seen Pyatt play in a few years
  15. For some reason I would take Ritchie over Dal Colle and Draisaitl. Probably because I know him more than the other 2. Can somebody give me some insight and a full analysis on Dal Colle and Draisaitl? Sorry I'm too lazy to dig around
  16. I'm quite sure that was sarcasm
  17. He just needs to keep a clean look. Hope he doesn't pick up any tips from Kassian regarding grooming
  18. I was thinking Mcdavid. We're talking about an elite set-up man with snipers on either side. The line would be speedy and all 3 of those guys have their own unique skillsets. However all the anti-tankers will pounce on me quicker than Nikolaj Ehlers so I'd better hide my opinion
  19. Ritchie - Horvat - Kassian
  20. Virtanen kinda bulls his way and relies on instincts rather than reading
