Ritchie
- skating is not a problem. He skates well for someone his size
- physicality is not a problem. He uses his body well when he needs to.
- his hands are not a problem. Good passing ability, decent shot
- shows he has decent hockey IQ
If he can wrap that all up, man oh man
Stay away from Tanev. I don't want the foul hands of the Edmonton organization to even go close to him
I would do Kesler + anything for Hampus Lindholm and their 10th. Although, there isn't much of a chance Anaheim gives us Lindholm
His skating is not average. I'd say he's fastest next to Ehlers. His shot is a better than "good". He's 6'1 210 lbs at 18, he won't need to put on a whole lot of weight to be effective physically. The only reason why I wouldn't take him at 6 is because there's a possibility he becomes a David Booth. He has all the tools but lacks the iq to be truly effective with his tools.
If we have a pick anywhere after 15, I'd be happy to take Virtanen. It's always good to take someone with all the physical tools so coaches have something to work with. Virtanen can skate, he has decent size, and he has a very good shot
It's clear that some of our players are on the decline but it's odd that so many of our players are on an all time low and we're not winning. We're not disciplined enough to play a game as defensive as LA and we don't have gamebreakers in our lineup. it's obvious Torts' system isn't for our team and I don't think it's smart to bring in players to fit his system
