  1. Seriously? Their first match was great, but I can probably name 5 or 10 better divas matches.
  2. David Price bought the entire team blue bathrobes with their names and numbers on their backs. That's some nice team bonding. Hopefully it's a sign, that he wants to be part of the team going forward.
  3. Just in the AL or the entire league? I think the closes was the 2011 Yankees, when Granderson, Teixeira, and Cano were all in the top 8 for RBIs.
  4. Not sure when was the last time, but in 2000, the Jays had 4 guys who hit 30+ HR (Delgado, Batista. Cruz and Fullmer).
  5. Alright time for a little poll here. Let's say, the Jays don't win the division. Who would you rather play in a one game elimination game for that last playoff spot? Angels, Twins, Orioles, Rangers or Rays? I think the safest bet would be the Twins.
  6. Buehrle needs Navarro at the back of the plate catching him. He's just not as the same with Martin there.
  7. If the Jays have any chance to re-sign Price, both Buehrle and RA need to be let go or retire.
  8. Depending on the circumstance of the team. You upgrade where you are at the weakest, and the Jays needed pitching, not offense. All three are great players, and any team would be lucky to have any one of them.
  9. So, tell me why the Angels are fighting for a playoff spot, these past few years when they had one of the best hitter for the past decade and the the reigning MVP? Right, because they don't have the starting pitching.
  10. Well, Grey is one of the best pitchers right now. ERA: 2.07 (3rd in MLB) WHIP: .98 (5th in MLB) Wins: 12 (6th in MLB) WAR: 6.4 (2nd in MLB) (compare to Donaldson's 6.7 WAR, not much of a difference.) Opponent's Avg: .201 (3rd in MLB)
  11. An elite Ace is much more valuable than anything else. Pitching is the most important position in baseball, because that wins you championships. Grey is probably the run-a-away Cy Young winner, playing a weak offensive team. 12 wins with Oakland, just imagine how many more wins he would get playing on an offensive team, like Toronto.
  12. Well, we all knew how good Donaldson is/was. I just thought, if they were going to trade an asset like Lawrie, they should have traded him for pitching. I think, if the Jays would have gotten Sonny Grey from the A's, they would be as equally as good.
  13. Nope. You are only charged a run, for the batters you face. So, all three base runners would have been charged to Dickey, if they came in.
  14. I don't like the Jays odds tomorrow. No one on the Jays lineup has had any success against Tanaka They kind of lucked out last week, with those two homeruns.
  15. Glycerine is the greatest power ballad ever.
  16. Their newer stuff sucks. Everything after, Just Push Play.
  17. A perfect game is really hard to predict. Literally anyone could get a perfect game if all the cards fall in place (eg: Galarraga). If you were a betting man, I would go with Kershaw or Sale (two of the best strikeout pitchers).
  18. Too lazy to search, but when was the last time the Jays swept a series? It feels like, forever ago.
  19. They need to, in order for this trade to mean anything. 7 starts of Price isn't worth trading your top prospects. No matter how desperate you are to make the playoffs. I know for a fact that Norris will be a good pitcher, in this league. His curveball is just pure filthy. It kind of reminds me of Kershaw's curveball.
  20. Money isn't really an issue for the Jays. Rogers could very well pay him the biggest contract in baseball history, if they wanted to. It's the "no one gets more than 5 years" rule, that prevents top free agents from coming to TO.
