  4. Appearently Triple H wants to sign Joe to a tryout, but Vince isn't to keen on TNA stars.

Some killer tennis being played between Murray and Joker.
  7. I'd much rather see Rollins vs. Daniels for the MitB briefcase at Mania and have Ziggler battle Barrett, Sheamus, and Cesaro for the IC title.
  8. Big Show wasn't built as a monster beast, whereas Lesnar is.
  9. Daniels and Rollins are just as vanilla as Reigns is on the mic. The only difference is Daniels and Rollins both came up from the underground scene, so people think they "deserve" to mainevent WM, because they have paid their dues. I'm sorry but that isn't how it works in the WWE. A certain someone might not agree with this but it has always been about the looks, and it will never change (even once Vince is gone), because when you look at these big guys, kids see a guy you can look up to. Why do you think Cena is shoved down our faces? I'll be the first to admit I'm not the biggest Cena fan, only cause his matches are so damn predictable/boring, and he never puts over talent, but despite that he, is a great role model for kids. The only way Vince f'ked this up, if Reigns turns into another Cena, but until then, I say give Reigns the chance to see what he can do with the title. Ambrose is a different story, I think he is ready for the spotlight, but how can you give a guy that opportunity, when he just came off a feud, where he loss? His time will come, sooner rather than later. Ziggler, I can never see him in the world title picture, unless a bunch of injuries occur. He's pretty much the modern day Christian, upper mid-card status.

  11. The Shield weren't over at that time, they were heels, who were portrayed as the authorties henchmen who did their dirty work. As the Rumble went on, the crowd was totally behind Reigns when he was inching closer and closer to Kane's record. Although, I do agree that, not wanting Batista winning have some part of him being super over. If you ask anyone last year on who out of the three shield members was going to be the breakout star, I can guarantee you most would say Reigns. Now after a few bad promos (written by Vince), people decides he isn't ready? It's not like he's terrible in the ring. I never claimed the reason Michaels nearly jumped was because of ratings. Michaels thought highly of himself, he wanted to be the guy to beat his friends in the ratings, and when it didn't happened, he blamed others for his failures. Watch his documentary Heartbreaks and Triumphs, and you'll get an idea what I'm trying to say.
  12. It's only predictable because people read dirt sheets off the internet. Reigns was super over last year, in the rumble. Heck, even some people wanted him to win the whole damn thing.
  13. That's the difference between the indy circuit and the big leagues, son. If you want to relate to a wrestler, then people should just stick to watching indy shows, where it's pretty much the same weight class for everybody. While the WWE is "fake", they still got to make it somewhat believeable. They built Lesnar at this monster beast, who can't be defeated. You can't just put a cruiseweight into a fight against a super heavyweight and expect him to win the match. Vince has given the ball to smaller guys before (Michaels, Hart, Mysterio, Jericho), and looked how well that turned out for him (I don't not count Austin or The Rock as smaller guys). Take Shawn Michaels for example, he was immensly popular with the fans and Vince gave him the ball. Ratings still started to decline, Michaels couldn't handle it "lost his smile", and nearly jumped to WCW. Got to give Reigns a chance, see what he can do with the title. People have been asking for a change for years, now. Wanting to push new talents and create new stars. Now it looks like they are finally going into that direction, and fans are still bitching about pushing the wrong guy. Honestly, the only problem I had with the rumble was Daniels going out way too early. Maybe they were trying to protect him, since he is coming off a major surgery?
  14. When has the Rumble ever been a surprise? Last year, everyone knew Batista was going to win. Two years ago, Cena. The year before that, Jericho, but they threw in a curveball last mintue and let Sheamus win.
  15. Lesnar, the guy who did the impossible broke the streak and beat Cena cleanly. Do you honestly think either Ambrose or Daniels could defeat Lesnar? Forget wrestling being scripted, in a real fight Lesnar would destroy these two, with a blink of an eye. It would only make sense for Lesnar to get defeated by a big younger guy or else, as I mentioned above, his reign of dominance in the past year, would be a waste if he were to lose to a f**king cruiseweight. Rollins vs. Daniels is much more "marquee" match at Mania than Reigns vs. Lesnar, because at least we know Rollins and Daniels would put on a goddamn client. And what is it with these fans who are so obsess with these "small guys" winning the heavyweight title? I don't care how many stupid world titles you have. I mean, I would be a fan of Jericho whether if he had 10 world titles, or none. Who needs the world title spotlight, when you can entertain the crowd.
  16. I'm going to be brutality honest here, Reigns was the only logic choice to win the Rumble. Daniels had his WM moment last year, and I don't think people backstage would want to risk his health, just coming off a major surgery going up against Lesnar, who is known to be a "shoot" wrestler. Ziggler/Ambrose vs. Lesnar - Lesnar losing the title to any of these two, would just be a complete waste of his dominance of the past year. Rusev/Wyatt vs. Lesnar - heel vs. heel, not marketable. The only other wrestler who I could have seen winning it was Ryback.
  17. I'm starting to realise why I stop watching wrestling altogether and it has nothing to do with the product, but moreso the smarky fans who attend and ruin the PPV.
  18. Now that Lawrie has flown the coop, I think Daniel Norris has become my new favourite Jays. Dude, seem like a cool guy to hang with. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/top-blue-jays-prospect-lives-in-a-van-by-the-ocean-002109962.html
  19. I would mark the s**t out, if I hear this in the Rumble match.
  20. I've been following Perry since his junior days, and he wasn't the smartest player out there. It's true he also had issues with his skating, but hockey smarts was another problem of his. Often took bad penalties, was unreliable in his own end. It wasn't until his 5th year in the pros that he learn from his flaws.
  21. Why do people worry about his hockey IQ so much? That can be taught, as he continues in his development as a pro. There are plenty of NHL players that had the same issues as Jake, in their draft year (low hockey IQ), but now are NHL stars today (Corey Perry).
  22. Because you are taught to cover, if you're the last man back and a dman is pinching. Either way, Bowey made a ridiculous pinched, that he shouldn't have and Jake needed to back check harder for a guy with his speed.
