  1. Juolevi probably hurts us the most, considering there wasn’t a consensus number one ranked defensemen, in the draft. We went with what many scouts deem the safest pick and it backfired. Chychrun, Sergachev, and McAvoy were all ranked around each other and we literally picked the worse out of the four.
  2. If it’s successful, then why would he want to change it, despite being stale? His system has always been successfully, in every team he has coached so far.
  3. Meanwhile Newell Brown’s PP is ranked 6th in the league. Clearly, the problem wasn’t the coach, but the personnel, on the pp.
  4. As a hockey fan, I’m kind of sadden that he didn’t go to the Flames. McDavid vs. Eichel, in the battle of Alberta, would have been neat for hockey. While in the East, it would have been brother vs. brother.
  5. Stone is skating with the team in practices and it’s possible for him to return in one of the games on the weekend.
  6. I thought he was an assistant coach somewhere, but I guess not.
  7. As for experiences coaches. I don’t think we need another rookie coach nor do we want to re-hire Torts. Dan Bylsma Ralph Krueger Claude Julien Mike Babcock Bruce Boudreau
  8. Hamhuis is miles better than Hamonic and Salo (when healthy) was one of our top shutdown defensemen.
  9. Then how is that the Hawks players were teasing Beach about Aldrich during training camp? Both Sopel and Boynton spent two years with the Hawks (one year, with Aldrich before he departed). Surely, everyone on the team knew who John Doe was.
  10. Considering it took 11 years for the story to make public. I doubt they encouraged him to speak about the incidents. This is why sex offenders are living a normal life on the streets, because people are afraid to take action earlier. You’re letting them walk away with no repercussions. So, they can find their next victims.
  11. They didn’t need to speak up for him. They needed to encouraged Beach to take action and if he was denied by the PA (like it was reported). He had reinforcements behind him.
  12. What I’m saying, if Sopel and Boynton spoke up about the toxic behaviour of Aldrich to the media 11 years ago. Aldrich would have been in jail and out of the hockey world. While the Blackhawks wouldn’t have been in this mess, 11 years later.
  13. They knew about it 11 years ago and didn’t speak about it until it became a story. If you knew someone close to you that killed another man. Are you going to brush it off, until he is caught? Probably not. I highly doubt any league in the sport world would hire a committed sex offender.
  14. Not speaking up earlier is practically ignoring the incident and lying about it. If they spoke up to the PA. Aldrich would have been out of the hockey world. While those two Miami U. players wouldn’t have been a victim of his.
  15. Hate to play devil’s advocate here, but if Sopel and Boynton knew this from the beginning. Why did it take them 11 years to finally speak up? They should also be ashamed of themselves just as much as the rest of the Hawks players, who lied about not knowing.
  16. Traded for Mika Zibanejad, Adam Fox, and Ryan Strome. The majority of the Rangers’ core were built from the Gordon era.
  17. It’s amazing what the Braves are doing without one of their best offensive threats and their ace. It’s like the Jays without Vlad Jr. and Ray.
  18. Despite Chychrun being a minus-9. He has only allowed 3 high danger goals against, and has only committed 3 turnovers. He also has a respectable corsi rating at 50% even, playing major of his minutes against the opponent’s top line. While being deployed in the defensive zone 53% of the time on the ice. The Coyotes are a terrible team, to put it lightly. They’re dead last in goals for and against. None of the blame should fall on Chychrun.
  19. Hughes plays on the PK? He has a total of 6 minutes on the PK, in his entire NHL career.
  20. Well, I guess I’m cheering for the Braves, now. Go Freddie Freeman!
