I think Stillman will develop into a decent dman. He's still got time to develop and has a good natural abilities -

He is a major issue with this team, but you go right on low ning the other way. Let's hope management isn't as soft on him. More to the point his contract is a major issue -
I actually thought he looked pretty good inhis limited mins. Again, to me, this was a coaching issue and it wasn't just JL's mins, it was an overall issue as I felt this was one of the most poorly coached swedish teams I've watched in the tourney

When they signed LE they were a team set up to rebuild and his salary didn't hinder them much. They've now signed Miller with a pretty decent stable of young players who will all be coming off their entry level deals or RFA contracts and will be getting significant raises as they come into their prime years. Millers deal is going to have a significant impact on how they are able to build around those young core players. You might not like LE, but that deal was pretty inconsequential in the big picture of the rebuild. Further to that LE was, at least, a very solid defensive player and could move up and down the lineup where needed.......Miller is proving to be a scoring winger and pp specialist and not much else. When you combine that with the the high probability that Miller is a dressing issue, that makes the Miller deal far worse for the org than LE's deal. -

Miller will be worse if they don't move him, imo -

Can you produce verifiable evidence? Further to that, what's he supposedly guilty of? Running his business? -

Is there actual evidence of that though? -

What interference? Where's the evidence of that, beyond rumour and conjecture. Even if there is some truth to it, it's his business. If you own a business, aren't you going to expect to have some influence and say in how it's run? He's not just a bank -

He doesn't hire the coaches, nor does he make roster decisions, despite what many think -

I'm not sure you understand the point of a discussion board. You're free to put me on ignore anytime, but whining about an owner who has never spared any expense trying to put a winning team on the ice and bring the city a Cup is beyond ridiculous and I'm going to challenge you on it every time -

Missing the point of what? You chastised FA for wanting to run a profitable business did you not? Don't all business owners want their business to make money? Fans that expect FA to willingly let his business flounder for a decade or so are completely delusional. You don't like how he runs his business vote with your wallet and power as a consumer. Don't go to games, don't watch on TV, don't buy merch, don't post on the teams official message board. He has poured hundreds of millions of dollars into this team, never sparing any expense and people want to berate him for that? Cmon -

They should have ponied up for Miller, that's clear -

I think most people would have been fine getting whatever they could for Boeser. If there were no takers, many would have been fine letting him walk -

Several months later? There was a rather large contingent here screaming to trade him at this time last season. -

Get what? That a business owner wants his business to make money? Why is that such a foreign concept for you? Wouldn't you want your business to make money? Isn't that the point of owning a business? -
To me, this was a coaching issue more than a JL issue. For whatever reason this coach played favourites more than any swedish coach I've seen in awhile. I watched JL closely and thought he looked fine, the coach just seemed to have something against him.

Imagine the unmitigated gall of the owner of a business wanting it to make money. That's disgusting.
