  1. I think Klim is looking like a pretty solid pick and is learning how to be a 200ft player.
  2. He's better tonight, but away from bedard he's been mostly unnoticeable, imo. Solid game tonight though, I agree. Zero issues with that trade
  3. I think DG has been the recipient of playing on the pp with Bedard, but I don't think he's been noticeable beyond that.......better tonight though
  4. It shows how far ahead of the pack Bedard is. Both Fantilli and Carlson are projected top 5 picks and both have been inconsequential for their teams.......aside from Carlson today.
  5. If that's not pure spin, it's deeply troubling
  6. I don't expect every player to leave everything on the ice for every shift, but if you're going to pull that kind of crap, you better be the hardest worker on your team. I wouldn't put miller in the top half for that on this team
  7. I don't think we're over dramatizing it all. Anyone who isnt concerned about his escalating behaviour, on the ice, and lack of personal accountability is deliberately looking the other way. For me, it is pressing because his NTC kicks in after this season and if they don't move him by the tdl it's going to be a rough 7 years with him.
  8. That's not the NHL anymore, it's just a way to put your team on the pk. Lots of players work hard, I agree.......none of them treat their teammates the way Miller does
  9. When was that? And Horvat is one of, if not the hardest workers on the team........that's where your point falls apart. Miller thinks he can hold players accountable, but he doesn't lead by example. He has one standard for teammates and and much more flexible one for himself.......that's the difference.
  10. But they've good moves too, so it's hard for me to pin down who they are as a management group. I liked all their signings this summer, liked the bear trade and even don't mind the Stillman deal, so they are obviously capable of making good hockey decisions. It's frustrating and I don't get how anyone can watch this team and not see who needs to go and who needs to stay. Miller is still tradable, they just have to accept getting some egg on their face.
  11. There's nothing redundant about Horvat. I'd like to see Garland stick around, but ok-ish, with him on the move. Miller and Boeser gotta go, imo
  12. How many post seasons do you want Bo, Petey, Demko and Hughes to miss? A good player only gets 10-15 chances to play in the post season, if they stay healthy in their careers, every chance matters to them. Further to that, most Cup winners endure many playoff disappointments before they get to be legit contenders. If they're not going for the playoffs, they need to move Hughes and Petey as well
  13. And I think both have done it well, OEL especially. Swedes are so even keeled and stable that not much seems to rattle them
  14. He wont be in Vancouver past this season, that's pretty much a guarantee
  15. I just refuse to believe that they can watch these games and not see who the difference makers are. I just can't believe that they'll lose Horvat and Kuz and keep Miller and Boeser........I can't accept they could be that obtuse
  16. I'm not crazy about him and didn't want him from the get go. I don't think he's a bad coach, clearly he's not. I just think he's the wrong coach for this group.
  17. I think they'd find a buyer, Miller is still a top level player and his contract is reasonable. They'd just have to settle themselves for a moderate return.
  18. And why do you think they'll choose miller over horvat?
  19. I didn't realize he'd gone 12 games without a goal.........that really flew under the radar
  20. I'm not a jersey guy, but someone did gift me a 50th Anniversary Black Horvat Skate jersey for my 50th bday and I'll be really pissed if they trade him
  21. especially at the likely cost of Horvat. That makes it so much worse
