  1. I'd be more than fine with Reinbacher 10+. In the top 10, there's simply too many top end fwds to take the risk, imo.
  2. I think Moore is flying a bit under the radar too. He plays 2C behind Smith, but looks to be a solid player. They need C
  3. In most projections, reinbacher is a later first, in the 20 range, only one has him at #11 that I've seen. I think that'd be too much of a risk to take her m that high
  4. I think they'll try and recoup their 2nd with a boeser move at the draft, but I think they'll hold off on Myers until the tdl, unless someone is willing to take him without retention and without a sweetener in the off season
  5. I first read the book when I was 16, in the mid 80's and I read it at least once a year. Hands down my favourite piece of literature. The movie was amazing
  6. "We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold" Best opening to a book, ever
  7. You have to have a half way decent pk to take that approach though.
  8. I think they've really made an effort to put as weak of a lineup as they can put there. They simply aren't as bad of a team as people think they are and now they have a coaching staff who can get some buy in and implement some structure. Obviously demko is the biggest factor
  9. Let it go Boudrias, they'll be lucky to get 9-10. On the plus side, there's two good dmen in that range
  10. The issues were, largely, coaching related and a lack of buy on by fwds.......not tyst they don't need a D upgrade, they do, but they aren't the biggest issue
  11. I'd say they'll pass mon, phi, stl, probably Cal and maybe even Det. I expect them to pick 10-12, which puts them in a good spot for ASP or Reinbacher.
  12. I think they'll catch Mon, Stl, phi and probably Cal, with an outside shot at Det
  13. They're in a very unique situation with NJ and a move like that would have brought back multiple core pieces to help this team move past this spot. I didn't want him gone, just the top line depth and cap space that move would provide. I still think it's not a horrible idea, though that ship has probably sailed for NJ.
  14. OEL will be very good with a decent structure and fwd buy in.......and a goalie who makes the saves that need to be saved.
  15. A high pick would be nice, but it's also not necessary to be successful, I don't think. The top 10 of this draft is excellent, they've lost enough that they're going to get a great player to add to the mix wherever they finish.
