  1. A men's league, yes. But we're not talking KHL, SHL or even Liiga here
  2. I would take him #3, for sure. Probably #2, but I really like Fantilli too and a big, fast C is tough to pass up, considering MM's contract status.
  3. Doubtful. He might not even be the first dman taken
  4. I would take him over Carlsson, not sure about fantilli......three years is a long wait.
  5. Reinbacher isn't top 10, so the Canucks would have to fall significantly to have that make sense.
  6. Why is it devils advocate, it was a solid deal, it just should have been done 4 months from now
  7. I liked fantilli more in the wjhc........he seemed more dynamic, but carlsson had more hype, imo. Michkov is probably significantly better than both
  8. I think most NCAA prospects who don't sign, or are undrafted don't usually amount to a whole lot, other than hype. That said, doesn't mean it's not worth a shot
  9. Johanssen will most likely slot right into the Van dcorp, beside OEL is my guess
  10. He's already playing against men and doing very well. Fantilli would be tough to pass on though
  11. Not done by cpu, but the exact way the league does it. It'd be disappointing not to get bedard, but what a consolation prize. Who do they take? I think they take Michkov
  12. They're improving game by game and with Demko, it will make a huge difference. Johanssen and Hronek will be big adds and will be a big improvement defensively. I didn't include Myers in there, but there's a good chance he's still around as well.
  13. I think AM, almost for sure. I think the org (JB as well), made sure to let him know he was wanted and valuable. They've got plenty of NCAA players and that'll make it a pretty easy decision for him. I can't imagine that the Canucks wouldn't be on the top of a BC boys list, especially after playing in Langley. Seems like a no brainer to me, but certainly no guarantee......for either one of them
  14. that was all coaching. It was pretty obvious, from training camp, that something was rotten in Denmark........Denmark being the defensive "system" employed. I don't care who the goalie is, he's going to get ventilated with a team giving up that many high quality chances. I can't stand RT, but they are playng a much more structured game and it's showing. They won't be nearlt as bad next season.
  15. I agree that it looks like they're making some spots for a run at some guys. AM, obviously, and Livingstone would be welcome addition.
  16. if Demko stays healthy, they are a bubble team, easily, imo. That said, it depends on what they have to bleed to get cap compliant this summer
  17. My assumption is that they let Bear walk, Johansson comes over next season and slots into the 2RD spot and they re-sign Schenn for the bottom pairing, with Juulsen and Breezer as the #7-8 guys. Hughes hronek OEL Johansson Wolanin schenn Breezer, Juulsen
  18. Wtf? The big club has already decimated the Abby dcorps now you dump kalynuk for nothing? Must be college guys coming or something. Seriously, Woo is the #1 guy there now
