I don't disagree, just that everything LE has been beaten to death.

who said he was exempt? However, he doesn't deserve to have every mistake analysed under the ridiculous microscope that applies to only a few chosen players, but not to others. My point was all players make more mistakes every shift than they make good plays and it's ridiculous to nitpick every mistake that LE makes, because every player makes them. As usual you completely missed the point

I Think Green is crippling Pettersson with a dump and chase style

I love how the players never have to shoulder any responsibility........well, certain players -
I think that line had a game goodor two and is now mostly ineffective. Miller was far better of Bo's line than Petey's. If they insist on Boes and Petey together, then keep Ferland/Pearson there and go with Miller Bo Jake

Virtanen and Ferland are the least of the worries, they're support players. Aside from Miller, the core top 6 players have been missing since the start of the year. -

What? They are so far ahead of where most thought they'd be, there's no way anyone is in any kind of danger of being let go. -

Isn't it pretty obvious that the players that actually go out and play are at fault at this point? They look like the couldn't care less. -

Despite points, Petey has been mostly invisible from game one. We need first half Petey from last season -

That deserved 4, at least -
It is, but it doesn't have to be done this season either.......they have some time to let itself work out.

MikeyD is going to play a huge part on how JB approaches the rising goalie battle in Van. If MD shows he might actually be an NHL starter I think they will move Demko for a high price. Demko is going to be a steady starter who could possibly become a star, he's going to bring back a blue chip prospect, a 1st round or a young already developed player ready to break out........or some combination of the above. That leaves Marky as the no doubt starter for at least 5 years of prime goaltending to support a good team in front of him. It's also pretty good timing for MD and he'd get to learn from a great goaltender. However, if it looks like MD isn't going to be a legit NHL starter, then I think they move Marky to a contender for a very large return. The market for JM wouldn't be as wide as it woukd be for Demko, but I think he'd get a higher return. Thatch then gets to take the team he grew up with on his back. Either way, there's going to be a payday coming for Van and it'll be before the ED.

Let's be happy they played two good periods and showed some character by holding on........regardless of how that makes you feel as a fan. In years past they wouldn't have held on to that game and likely would have left with one point, max. They weathered the storm together and it will be a character builder.- 513 replies

If he calls a TO with more than 10 mins left and they get down to the last two mins and guys are gassed and he's used his TO already, people would be wanting to throw him off the Port Mann bridge. Ultimately, it didn't matter.
