  1. I think they need to put Miller back on Bo's line........let them be the first line and put Jake with Petey and Boes and get more favourable matchups as the second line.
  2. considering they are #1 in the league on the pk, I'd say there's not a whole lot to complain about.
  3. what is psychological? They played an excellent 15 mins of that period, imo.
  4. This where Demko needs to step up. Marky has done a great job of stopping the bleeding for the last 60 games or so. They're reeling, they need Demko to close the door.
  5. I'm sure he wasn't intending on shooting it that high.........it's not always easy to determine a matter of inches on a shot.
  6. I'd say it's even, if not tilted in the Canucks favour. Great game so far
  7. strange that their pk is so good, but a sub par overall team defence in ga
  8. Who the hell comes out when Rous is healthy? Leivo? Do they try to trade him? Gaud down to Utica? LE? What a great problem to have. Miller Petey Boes Ferland Bo Pearson Rous Sutter Virtanen Schaller Beagle Motte Leivo AG LE That's a heckuva bottom 6
  9. I probably wouldn't call a solid two way, full time NHL player a miss, nor would I call a dman who had one of the best 20 year old seasons in Liiga history and who was one of the top rookie scorers in the ahl before injury a miss either.
  10. which two did Benning miss?
  11. I'll bet JT will still be helping the Canucks in 5 years, probably more than the first will be.
  12. TJ Oshie can be Washington's JT Miller! Al kidding aside, it's a pretty solid comparable, imo.
  13. You can see these guys are starting to believe and they're starting to play hard for each other.
  14. best shift of the game right there. Grind em down and don't take the bait.
  15. agreed, that was cheap and unspeakably lame
  16. Couldn't stand him, but it's hard to fault him for making the best out of a roster in the very early days of a transitional period for the team. He didn't have much to work with.
  17. I'd say his back has finally fully recovered.
  18. If that's how it played out, he'd certainly own a good chunk of that. He's still a solid player on a relatively cheap contract. He was signed for depth, not to be a core, go to player.
  19. Nobody thinks that was a cap dump situation. It was a hockey trade.
