He only made the NHL that year because they didn't want him back in the Calgary progrsm, imo. They needed a place to park him until he was eligible for Utica.
Reading through this thread, I find it funny that there hasn't been more comparisons to Gallagher because thats the first, and only comparison that made sense to me.
There's just something about him and Gadjovich that just just screams NHL'er.
Its awesome that fans are keeping expectations in check. I feel a "brock Boeser, do we need him" thread when he fails to hit 15 goals by Xmas and a board crash for a month if he gets sent to Utica.
Though I think the claim that Rodin is better than Eriksson is way way way over the top, I do believe Rodin will be in the top 6 and push BB to Utica to develop free of the pressure and media/fan circus of Vancouver.
Rodin is a very good player of he's healthy.
Could not possibly agree more. Why would JB sign guys and then expose them to waivers out of camp when he can send young guys down without waivers. To say nothing about making prospects paying their due.
I think you didn't read my post.
I'm all for him playing and believe there's a strong chance that he starts in Utica. My post was a comment on all the people who have him as a 100% lock to be in the Canucks lineup opening night.
