As far as I'm concerned getting Boeser going is key. We, as it stands would not be a worse team without him. So if we currently gave him away the only thing we would notice would be cap space which is huge. Getting him scoring at a healthy pace might net us a pick. It's my feeling that we are upon a shuffling of the deck coming up here pretty soon.

We need to get this team rolling to up the value of our players....in particular Boeser and garland.

Guys like this should get this kind of recognition more often. If Rypien played 1000 for us we wouldn't question it.

I've been following Canucks for almost 50 years and I've never seen a team look so disorganized!!! Even when we were bad...had no talent it was never a case of looking disorganized like we do now. It's really something to witness thus team. Funny thing is we're down by 4 and for all we know could still win.

It boggles my mind that Miller or horvat would be traded while keeping boeser and garland. Miller at 8 mil or garland at 5 ? People complain about Miller coughing up the puck. Watch garland and how many times he loses possession. Would you take boeser at 7 or horvat at 9.? I'd rather give bb away for nothing and gain cap space that we can leverage to acquire a d at the tdl than lose horvat. We will never solve our d problems without cap and that cap shouldn't come from losing horvat. Pay the man and drop the dead weight. 13 million between garland and Bb. The immediate focus should be getting Boeser in a position to succeed so he can be dealt. Same for garland.

You don't trade players like Bo when you have guys on your roster like BB and CG. I'd dump BB for nothing before I would trade Bo because of $.

This fanbase has developed an emotional allergy to trading picks. When trade and picks are used in the same sentence we swell up, our heart rates increase and we start scanning our homes for guns. We are a dysfunctional confused bunch here. We want to rebuild but we already have what most teams want when they rebuild( you don't rebuild a team that's already got Demko, petterson, Hughes podz, Horvat) So now if we trade off all the other parts.......Miller etc, the picks you will receive picks that will take time to develope making our current core to old, or don't want to stay through all of that = being in limbo. The issue here is being able to properly diagnose what's wrong with this team. I personally don't believe it's solved by 1 top 4 defenseman. Last year when Travis Green got fired and we went on a tear we had alot of hope. Now? Obviously something else wrong. But suggesting trading our first will not solve the problem. That's called grasping at straws.

I'm going to repeat myself. This team has no cocky players. We need a KESLER type player or two on this team. I'm not talking about schenn types I'm talking about douchery, mouthy, classless obnoxious, under your skin, arrogant prick. Ever watched Kesler line up at center. He'd skate two or three circles staring at his teammates. He never shutup .....yapping at the other team and at his own teammates. He was boss. Everybody is full adrenalin when playing with that. Kesler. The real captain of the Canucks. Not Hank. That's a key ingredient this team needs. You can't fake that.

I'm curious how many people on this board would want to play for the Canucks if they were handed an nhl carreer. Take Jt Miller for example. He carried this team on his back last year. Look hows he's treated by the fans after a slow start.! Of if he shows some passion and slams his stick on the boards. Embarrassing. Can't believe the criticism Bo gets at times too. Unbelievable.
