Which is why the whole structure of how things are penalized needs to be changed. Not everything warrants an increased scoring opportunity. There should probably be a minor foul kind of deal where if you commit three infractions you get thrown out of the game or something like that. That would definitely cut down on the hacks and whacks because a ref would be more inclined to call them without feeling like they're impacting the outcome and players would only have themselves to blame.
