Had a dream we traded Very back for our 3rd. I was so excited.

  7. Do people still read books? I'm not sure but let's see if this thread stays alive. I'm reading On The Road by Jack Kerouac at the moment. It's my first Kerouac book and I find it quite entertaining. Makes me wish I was around for that era.
  8. If I ever start using terms like "the misses" or "the wife" please kill me The Sitter: 5.5/10 I cringe when people justify enjoying mass produced comedies like this by saying "it's not that bad" but that's exactly what I'm doing so suck it. Solid hangover movie. Also Jonah Hill plays a fat version of me so that's cool. Also I was in a weird mood when I watched it and almost cried when Jonah Hill was all like "it's ok to be gay" to that little boy.
  9. 4/10 Some slightly interesting insight into bro-culture and porn addiction. Also the confession scenes were great. However it was really not as entertaining or endearing as it tries to be. As a directorial debut for Joseph-Gordon Levitt it does show some promise. It will be interesting to see if he continues with writing and directing.
  10. Got home from this lame ass ritzy place in Kits and found a couple Palm Bays laying around. Props to my little cousin for having spring break parties with her 15 year old friends. Those are my Palm Bays now.
  11. I am drunk, what's up?????????? I feel pressure to make a ridiculous drunk post but the truth is I can be quite articulate after a good ole' six banger
  12. I think he has to. If Willie is really confident he can bounce back it might even be a good idea to put him in next game against The Coyotes. If not then I'd say him put him against Toronto. We have to give him more than one chance to see if he can cut it. As someone who has played goal in multiple sports I'd be the first to tell you how much your performance can vary when even the smallest variable is tweaked. I really don't think it's a skill thing with Markstrom. I think he just gets too hyped up and over thinks playing in the NHL. He might just need to f up a few times before he settles in.
  13. Markstrom got pulled after 3 goals on 4 shots. First one was a real nice shot after some terrible defence by Vancouver. Markstrom could've had it but it was an almost perfect shot. Second one was just weird not really Markstroms fault at all. Puck bounced off the glass into the crease and a Shark somehow backhands it from his knees and facing the wrong way. Third was off a really bad rebound (his one save) it looked like first two got into his head at that point. I'd say a mix of bad luck and nerves got the best of him. Hopefully his next chance goes a lot better. I still believe this guy can do it at the NHL level. It's really odd he's flopped so hard so frequently in the NHL, maybe it's just a mental thing. Whatever it is he better get over it quick.
  14. Straight up fleecing by Benning. Baertschi will be great, so stoked on this trade.
  15. Wow, watching that now made me remember how fast Burrows used to be. Shame he doesn't have that kind of speed anymore. Will always be one of the best to wear a Canucks jersey though, even if he ends his career on the fourth line.
  16. Vote for Hank and Dank!! http://poy.tsn.ca/1-nhl2014/match/8-sedin-vs-tatar. They're on their way to a come back and Tartar is annoying

  17. I really do not understand at all where all of the negativity towards Kassian has come from this season. He has been exactly where I would expect him to be at this point in his career. Sure he has been fairly inconsistent but that comes with the territory of being a 22 year old who is in his first full 82 game NHL season (not counting last years shortened season). He's on pace for 15-20 goals and is proving to be a valuable asset on the third line. Would I like to see him show up more often? Yes but he's shown flashes and I think it's just a matter of a couple seasons until the good flashes we've seen becomes the Kassian we're accustomed to. If in three to four seasons Kassian hasn't put up a 25+ goal 50+ point season then we can start talking about disappointment.
  18. 8,6,7 for a total of 21 Takes me 15 minutes to bike to work, have weekends off, I feel good at work and generally like the vibe and my co-workers. However I have to be up at 5:30 which sucks and a lot of the customers aren't exactly my kind of people but I can put up with them.
  19. I still currently say try to dump him just because of his cap hit. Although he has been the perfect third line winger lately, I wouldn't mind keeping him but 4.25 is steep for a third liner... even a really good one.
  20. duuuuuuuuuuuude don't miss Mac Demarco
  21. I was so stoked to stay in bed, be hungover and watch hockey today and then I come on here, see there's no gdt and then I realize it's friday not saturday and then I cry a little
