    Just saw a comments on twitter, where someone said JP Barry mentioned Petey is looking for term and 10+M per season.  Am I in the minority that doesn't like those figures?  He's had injury history already, so I seriously question that amount.  Personally, I think a bridge under 8M should be answer, and if there is term, nothing over 9.

      Wow. He really hammered Tampa getting better bang for the buck due to tax structure. I don't know that I've heard an agent say that before.

      Our fans are homer-blind sometimes and don't realize that Elias is not a top 5 center in the league.

      I would hope for the Canucks sake down the road he is worth that much but as it stands no, he had a stellar rookie campaign, followed up with a less effective but just as productive season then was injured last year. I don't think the team should be going long term on him at this time.
