  1. Somehow reminds me of this gal, from AGT A minute in:
  2. Buy food, and the ability to grow food.? A heat pump, to keep costs down? A more fuel/economy vehicle.? Solar panels? Material goods, buy now as likely much more expensive later.
  3. I wonder if anyone has deducted the ice time, where Bo just comes out for the face offs, then goes directly to the bench? His points per minute would definitely be higher, if that was done. The guy is a very good player, can't see him taking less than $7 per- especially when he can go to any team after this season, his call. Like the beach and a low tax rate? Lots of places in the states will fit. Like a place with low tax rates and being anonymous? Lots of places in the states. Like a place with lots of endorsement opportunity? Isn't Toronto close to his 'hometown'? Along with some large US markets. Buffalo just across the border, Detroit, not far from home.
  4. Canucks get out shot 55-19 Demko with the shut out. Canucks win 2-0 Oilers broken for the rest of season.
  5. Burroughs, Dekeyser and Keeper- likely last shot to make the opening team- play hard. At least Canucks aren't making the home town fans pay for this line up.
  6. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nfl/the-doctor-who-examined-dolphins-qb-tagovailoa-has-been-fired/vi-AA12xlBC?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=7da0be704d2345a7adccd72a0a12ceb8&category=foryou
  7. No sole to league management.
  8. Watched the Tampa/Chiefs game last night. Thought the play by play guys did a decent job of pointing out the concussion fiasco. They did not seem to buy the idea that Tau had a back injury one game, then got a concussion next game. Kind of 'looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck- hey it was probably a duck' multibillion dollar enterprise- still hasn't got this carp figured out.
  9. Yes, a rational person would say that recovery from mistakes is a good thing. However there are a few here, that will be unable to admit that the new 'saviour' is even capable of an error. Also it is the beginning of the end for JR.; as it would be for anyone. The end is still a long time away; but with every mistake, the list gets longer. When/If the list of bad outweighs the list of good, JR will be gone; just like every other GM/president.
  10. So a few will say she shouldn't have been hired, and they may have a point. But that means they need to admit that the current management team made a mistake. Not a big problem, to admit to a mistake and move on; but it does tarnish the 'J.R. is a super boss' and all will be perfect, viewpoint.
  11. He was also the father of Arlo Guthrie- a folk singer of great renown, himself.
  12. I think they've been trying to move that salary/cap hit since Ferland stopped playing. JB and JR.
  13. Perspective is everything. I'm sure a portion of the fan base would prefer Ryan to Rachel. Ladies, that don't prefer ladies, would likely prefer Ryan Guys, who don't prefer ladies, would likely prefer Ryan.
  14. I would have like to see Hughes and OEL play together more- and have them both try playing on the right side. 4 games- with 2 on the right for each would make it easier to decide just who gets shifted over. Losing Michayev and Boeser one again hurts line continuity. Maybe better to slot those guys in on the same line, and let the remaining player gel on 2 lines. That way only the one line is messed up to start.
