Strangely you now seem to be griping about what you perceive as other people's griping, or maybe my perception, in this case is wrong? -

Everything, other than hockey, is different than hockey. Now do you think Bertuzzi could have found better ways to express his anger? -

Those that think that, think differently than you. Why should you feel you get to judge how they value the product? Interestingly- most people that think differently than 'the world is sunshine and lollipops"; don't try to tell others to think like they do; they say their piece and allow for the fact that others think differently. -

Ok. hockey thing: Bertuzzi got mad at Moore- should he have been more careful how he expressed his anger? -

you can get mad at your wife- but I suggest you be careful how you express it. So -not the same difference. -

Interesting note- Miller is also a winger, and could have been traded to get a d man, or stock the cupboards. Iiic there were a bunch of people suggesting Miller as the likely to go guy? Now it is likely going to be someone else as the team still has holes in it. -

I don't think many have complained about Miller's passion.? There are quite a few that don't like the way he has expressed that 'passion', on a few occasions though. -

Jim Benning, Mike Gillis and in fact every GM likely thinks long and hard about their decisions, and, some of those decision are and were wrong. J.R. and P.A. will make decisions that are wrong, goes with the territory. They will also make decisions that are right. Thus I'm not big on just saying "The GM is right" without taking a bit of a look for my self. "so not sure why we can't all accept that and wait and see what unfolds? Rather than putting a gloom and doom stamp on it when things down the road are just that." other will look at this and think "why can't we all accept that and wait and see, rather than painting the world with rainbows and lollipops" No one way is the only way. -

some that thought about it, said- too long a contract, and a bit too much money, but they have thought about it none the less. -

If he likes finesse guy he must absolutely love Nylander, from Toronto.? -

Think I just did, and I'm not the first to point out, it is not the best analogy. As someone who has lost family to war, and seen others come back very different than when they went, I just like to make sure people know there is a difference -

Nope, if they are in your trench, they are on your side-unless they are trying to take that trench from you. Serious note- it is hard to fathom that all those people died, fighting from a 4 foot wide ditch, against the people fighting from their own 4 foot wide ditch-when the sides were close enough to throw rocks at each other. Some day we will learn to make the leaders fight, instead of the rest of us. Hopefully we then progress to no one fighting at all. -

no offense taken. You might be better off starting your "people I want with me" list with the bouncers you saw, that did a calm professional job, while being threatened, stabbed or shot at though. Transport Canada training indicates 10% of a trained crew will be useless in the event of an actual emergency. And, after 26 years on the water, I can say that number is pretty accurate. I've had crew ask me what the 'continual ringing on the bell' means, the day after we did a fire drill; because nobody told them there was a real fire happening. And nobody will know if they are part of the 10%, until it happens, for the first time.. -

Miller is a fine hockey player; but hockey is NOT war. so yes, I would question his ability in war- his and everybody's-including my own. -

All perfectly fine, it is your opinion, and your way of watching/being a fan. My problem with many posters is the name calling and belittlement that occurs when someone has a different opinion. Me- I like to know I'm looking after tomorrow, while living today. I don't spend all my money today and say "I'm going to let tomorrow take care of paying my mortgage". Short term and long term are both part of my plans. -

imo, the best on this team is either Hughes or Demko, but after that, a good argument can be made it's Miller. -

Well, gosh, if all we are doing is discussing opinions, and we don't know; then why are people stating other people are wrong, and insulting other people's intelligence? -

Again, no perfect players, means there can be no perfect type. Will he help, yes- at least for the first 3 years- after that- time will tell; keeping in mind Father time is undefeated. -

I'll easily argue that point- as there are no perfect players. Therefore no perfect type. I'd say I get it. glad he signed, but never going to pretend he, or any players are perfect. -

Every player in the NHL is someone you can win a cup with. I know this because every year a team wins a cup, and they do it with all sorts of players. Also every player is someone you can't win a cup with, I know this because only 1 team wins the cup every year. -

Early game today -looks like 9 am pacific- but sometimes these dang schedules, with different time zones, can be a real iq test. -

It would not be the first time this has happened, in the league. However I don't see J.R. and P.A. doing that. More likely to ditch Pearson, as J.R. has done that twice so far.
