  1. did any country have their A team over there? Seems that a lot of country's still had people playing in the NHL play offs.
  2. Used to work with a fella that earned that nickname. Hela nice guy, good worker; but bad luck followed him like it loved him. driving 31 kph, in a 30 zone---- and actually get a ticket. Try to break up a scrap at the soccer pitch--- end up with a torn acl rent a new house in winter, and 2 days after he moved in the power got turned off. I loved working with him, as I knew nothing bad would happen, to ME.

No worries, I find myself organizing the bins at the record shop all the time.
  4. ^ A good copy of that LP will set you back about $30 on Discogs.
  5. No thanks. Old slow a minus player for each of his last 7 years.
  6. I only saw a few minutes, and it didn't look good. about 33 minutes Caps have the ball just outside the box of St Louis, and a bit to the right side. they then moved the ball backwards, using multiple passes till they were well into their own zone. then they give up the ball at midfield.
  7. I remember, back in the old days; games were broadcast, with sound.
  8. Strange that TSN couldn't spare a channel for this game. 2 channels of Memorial Cup-same game on each Lacrosse NBA pre game Formula one racing

The Team Canada stars have announced their engagement on social media, with a photo on Poulin’s verified Instagram account showing the smiling couple on a beach as Stacey brandishes a ring on her right hand. The accompanying caption is decorated with heart and ring emojis and declares: “She said OUI.” Fellow Olympic hockey players Brianne Jenner, Jill Saulnier, Natalie Spooner, Rebecca Johnston and Cheryl Pounder were among those to offer congratulations from their verified Instagram accounts. Poulin, the 32-year-old team captain, and 29-year-old Stacey were among the Canadian athletes to capture silver at the recent IIHF Women’s World Championship. They also played together on Team Canada to win gold at the Beijing Games in 2022 and silver at the PyeongChang Games in 2018.". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My congratulations and best wishes.
  11. Term is the same length. However R.J's cap hit is $8 mill Brock is $6,650,000 R.J. is 30 and Brock is 26 both play right wing, but R.J. can play center as well. Brock .78ppg R.J. .66 ppg Summary- Brock is younger, cheaper and scores at a higher rate. If management believes R.J could be a decent 3rd line center, then maybe I make the deal. Strenght, for weakness is sensible; but I would not do the trade just to play R.J. as a winger.

This is an increase from the previous rate of $14.60 per hour1. The new rate applies to most workers, including full-time, part-time, casual, and piece-rate workers1. The minimum wage is reviewed annually every June 1st and is expected to increase again by June 1, 20233. However, there is a conflicting source that states the minimum wage will further increase on April 1, 2023 to $14.15/an hour, and the hourly rate is projected to be approximately $15 on October 1, 20234. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2,700/15.65= 172.52 hours of work, just to make rent, every month.
  13. You think a 126 point season is 'within' reach? or did you mean points? In which case 103 points? The lesser is doubtful and the greater is just wacky.
  14. ^ Every time I see stories of this nature, I am amazed the moron is still alive, and not a "Darwin Award" candidate. How stupid can humans get?
  15. Yes he would. The whole 'deterrent' idea has become unworkable in todays game. Just leads to manpower advantages for the other team. No rat of today is worried about taking a couple of gloved shots from Lucic, when they get paid good money to be a rat. And if Lucic drops the gloves first, it becomes an aggressor penalty, and if Lucic drops the gloves on a player not fighting back Lucic gets a multi game suspension, and the rat is back on ice for the next game, to do the dirty work to the next star. The only thing that stops a rat, is that team's star players. Nobody would go after Petey, if they knew the Canuck response would be to spear, slash, hack, wack and drive the opposing stars head through the boards. Those are the players this team needs. The guy that skates past the opponents star and says "Either leash your rat, or get ready to deal with me."
  16. The issue is not getting under the cap; the actual problem is getting under the cap, and having a team that could make the play offs.
