  1. Risky two players, a first round prospect, plus a second in 2021 for one player, even the OP said is having a "worst season" I'd be too worried that Jenner is falling off a performance cliff to do the deal. And it seems too pricey even if I thought Jenner is going to rebound.
  2. iirc a few decades back some folk painted the actual rock, black.
  3. 2018/19 cap $79,500,000 2019/20 cap $81,500,00 so, to me, it appears the cap DID go up.
  4. It would be helpful if you type out what you mean, rather than adding in stuff at a later post.
  5. The guy can't skate, can't score, can't stay healthy and you want him here to help?
  6. Sven is Swiss. Or were you talking about Eriksson?
  7. I was going to leave this thread, but I couldn't:
  8. Edler missed 10 games Suttter 18 Roussel 28 Ferland 26 For many, this is true. And "anything can happen in the playoffs". So it is not hard to see why many want a playoff berth this season. I'd say the drafting of Podkolzin is evidence that JB is not managing "for his job".
  9. I agree, but that is what I thought last season as well.
  10. So, if you know what the next fine will be, do you behave, or really go to town?
  11. Any money raised in excess of tort's fine goes towards the next coach fined for speaking up.
  12. Well alcohol is used as an antiseptic, so I'd say yes.
  13. I'd point out that, imo, a knife is a silly weapon to try to use for self defense. By the time you get it out and open, if it is a folding type, it would be too late to use. Much better off grabbing what ever is in arms reach and using that.
  14. https://legalbeagle.com/6659356-knife-laws-canada.html " Passable Knives Knives with sheaths, knives that take both hands to open and any knife with a fixed blade are legal in Canada. Knives only become the law's concern in Canada after being used to threaten, injure or kill someone. Due to Canada's strict gun ownership laws, knives killed more people than guns did in Canada between 2000 and 2004. No Purchase Rules There are no laws governing the sale of knives in Canada. This may come from Canada's rich hunter/adventurer tradition, but knife vendors are not even required to check a buyer's age before selling a knife. There is also no criminal background check, licensing process or any other examination required to purchase a knife. This is because of how common and useful knives are in everyday life. Sales rules would choke most people's access to a tool with endless peaceful applications. Possession Simple possession of a legal knife is not a crime in Canada. However, a prosecutor may be able to argue in court that a small pocket knife was carried for a "purpose dangerous to the public’s peace" or in order to commit a crime. In this case, even possession of a small pocket knife can become a problem. The argument of possession of a knife for self defense has not yet become common law, and cannot be counted on as a blanket defense." As a deckhand I carry a knife at work, as a citizen I carry a knife everywhere else.
  15. I'll think about it, but I only have an "account" here and three other sites; don't really want anymore.
  16. seems you need to set up an account to vote, so someone vote an extra time for me.
  17. just spent 10 minutes trying on NHL site trying to find the voting page- can't find it.
