Markstrom missed games on family leave. Edler has missed games with injury. Sutter and Beagle missed games forcing Horvat to play a defensive draw taker role thus limiting his offensive ice time. Ferland and Roussell, middle six players, have missed games. And yet the team has more points than last year. This.

He was all of those things. the question now is "is he still all those things"? And $9 mill for 3-4 or 5 d man is a lotta money.

The best western writer of all time. eos. I have all his westerns, as well as his book of poetry. He did huge amounts of research and road horseback most, if not all, of the areas he wrote about. If he says a "Real" town or city from that time had 2 saloons and one bank you can pretty much believe that as fact. Like him, but see above.

30 years old, mixed reports on his ability to get along with teammates and $9 mill per. No Thanks.

Well, looks like I was wrong about JB. At the very least his statement regarding Ferland on Matt and Blake's show yesterday was misleading. Also looks like Blake Price was right. I am disappointed

I doubt a waiver is going to stand up in a court, as compared to labour law.

Because the employer has a legal responsibility to ensure the work place is as safe as reasonably possible. But if you wish to fund all the lawsuit settlements, just let the NHL know and perhaps they can start deducting money off your pay cheque now, to get a head start on the court ordered settlements.

JT can say "You knew about my issues/warts but did not know about the leader of the Conservative party; it is only fair to let the people have an educated vote" or words to that effect. Those that did not vote Liberal might vote for JT as they see him as either just as bad as Scheer on the corruption scale, so vote for the better party platform. Or they will see JT as flawed but honest and vote for the "honest" guy.

So you want Jim Benning to make all those moves and then you want Jim Benning fired if that results in a top 10 pick?

Matt Dunigan has talked of his last concussion and how he finally realized it was past time to hang up his cleats. Injured in a road game, was taken to the hospital for an overnight stay. Checked himself out part way through the night, taxi to the airport and book flight. Take the flight home, taxi home everything just fine. pay for the cab, walk to the front door, gets keys out of pocket..... but can't figure out how to make the key open the door. Found on doorstep by his wife 3 or 4 hours later.
-
so you believe, but have you talked to your friends and family for their input? I though I was fine after my last concussion, everyone else found me to be an argumentative, annoying, depressing jerk though.

Brown would look better than a Ferland who can't play.

well plague is making a comeback: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/nov/13/two-people-diagnosed-with-pneumonic-plague-in-china " Two people in China have been diagnosed with plague, the latest cases of a disease more commonly associated with historical catastrophe. Plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis and can arise in three forms – a lung infection, known as pneumonic plague; a blood infection, known as septicemic plague; and a form that affects the lymph nodes, called bubonic plague. The last of those forms is perhaps the most famous, and was behind several pandemics including the Black Death of the late middle ages, which is estimated to have killed up to 60% of the European population."
