  1. To me the writing that matters is on the contract. Professional NHL GMs have valued Meyers far above Biega for many years.
  2. You seem to be saying the Canucks would be better if they kept Biega and did not sign Meyers, as they could have saved millions, for the same results.
  3. What, are you arguing with some one?
  4. You have to imagine it, because that is not how he tossed millions away. He tossed million away by threatening his gm with physical violence, and being an idiot.
  5. Claybrooks seems to be a bit over his head as a rookie, hopefully he is better, or replaced, next season.
  6. So I looked him up, to be reminded he retired 10 years ago.
  7. Missed most of the game, lucky me, while having dinner out. However I did hear the last 12 or so minutes of the 4th quarter. I do wonder who decided to let the clock run and take their time with 5 minutes left or so? They end up going for a field goal, gave up possession then get the ball back with near no time left. Bet they could have used an extra minute, that they gave away just moments earlier.
  8. Good on the Canucks, they can use the extra forward for training camp and pre season split squad games. Landon gets to showcase himself to other teams, and maybe, just maybe, he actually bumps out one of the lower six forwards on the Canucks. Whoever plays the best gets the spots.
  9. Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way. Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way. Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain. You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today. And then one day you find ten years have got behind you. No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun. So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time. Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone, the song is over, Thought I'd something more to say.
  10. As long as it isn't the Canucks, Marleau's career jumped the shark a few years back.
  11. https://sports.yahoo.com/patrick-marleau-sharks-not-fit-202930593.html It looks like the reunion isn't happening after all. Patrick Marleau's agent, Pat Brisson, told Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman that his client does not fit with the Sharks right now. Marleau will pursue other playing opportunities in the NHL. Marleau, who turns 40 on Sept. 15, spent the first 19 years of his NHL career in San Jose. He played the last two years with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes this offseason. The former Sharks star moved back to California this offseason and made his wish to return to San Jose known. Shortly after being traded to the Hurricanes, Marleau was bought out, opening more speculation he could wear teal again this coming season. Clearly, the Sharks had other plans. [RELATED: Why Sharks should, shouldn't retire Marleau's jersey first] Marleau was a three-time All-Star with San Jose, but scored just 37 points last year, his lowest total in a full season since he was a rookie. Everyone loves a good reunion story, but this one simply didn't make much sense. Patrick Marleau, Sharks do not have fit at this time, his agent says originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
  12. Nope, that would be this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamilton_Tiger-Cats " The owner/caretaker of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club is businessman Bob Young, who purchased the club on October 7, 2003. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and graduated from Victoria College at the University of Toronto. His fortune was earned in the software industry and he is currently the owner and CEO of Lulu, a self-publishing website.[10]
  13. A friend of mine used to talk about how his knuckles stopped hurting, and his face felt much better, after he stopped drinking.
  14. Blue Why is North considered up and South considered down?
  15. The tweet that was posted says "including these players', it does not say "here is a list of all the players". Based on the post I can not assume Bo was not there.

  19. So, all those that don't like the show or the Baeumler family can donate enough money to turn the Bauemler's into paupers, as the Charity will match ALL donations? Everybody wins, except the Baeumler family.
  20. There were more people around in the last 300 years than the previous 2000 yrs so...……
