  1. If you are counting William's best goals season as 40, which it was, then you are obligated to count Brock's best season which was 29 goals. And truly- your name calling is not needed- it does nothing to promote your stance.
  2. If you look up ^ to one of my last 3ish posts on this thread, you will see that their points per game played are quite close. do you acknowledge, that even though you don't care, line mates do make a difference? If you look up about 3 of my posts you will see that Brock scores more goals per game played than William. Also you will note that I just finished saying
  3. I believe he will be back, someone posted a tweet from Calgary management saying they expect him back.
  4. Time to revisit 'homesteading'. Lots of government land, and we are the government, so why not give us some land? ohh- can't do that or a very significant revenue stream for rich folk, and for government would dry up.
  5. Brock is $6,650,000 Will is $6.962,366 A $312,366 difference. So close in points, and close in money. Seems these players are quite comparable. I doubt Toronto would risk "team cohesiveness" to trade for that little an amount of savings/cap space. However if it isn't just about the money? Brock is 1 year(ish) younger likely a better board player but is slower than William.
  6. https://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-player-playoff-compensation/ The size of the playoff prize pool generally increases every third season. In 2012-13 and 2013-14, the playoff bonus pool was $13 million, or twice the amount set aside in the earlier CBA. Here’s how the pool was divided in 2013: "Presidents’ Trophy winner — $500,000First round losers — $2 million ($250,000 each to eight teams)Second round losers — $2 million ($500,000 each to four teams)Third round losers — $2.5 million ($1.25 million each to two teams)Stanley Cup Finalist — $2.25 millionStanley Cup Champion — $3.75 million s league revenues have increased, the bonus pool has also risen. Here’s how the playoff prize pool has risen over the last decade from $13 million in 2012-13 to $16 million in 2018-19. The most CBA extension, which went into effect for the 2020-21 season has allotted the following amounts for the Playoff Fund: 2020-21: $20 million 2021-22: $20 million 2022-23: $21 million 2023-24: $22 million 2024-25: $23 million 2025-25: $24 million The NHLPA, with league approval, determines how the pool is distributed among the playoff-participating teams each year. Each team votes on the number of shares it should give out. Players who dress for just a few playoff games typically don’t receive a full share, but regulars basically all receive an equal amount. In other words, each player doesn’t necessarily receive an equal share of the pool allocated to their respective team. Often there are some adjustments made based on roster size, healthy scratches, and other unique situations. In 2019, the eight playoff teams that lost in the first round received roughly $2.6 million ($325,000 to each of the teams). With each team having a roster of 25 players, each player received approximately $13,000. The four playoff teams that lost in the second round received $2.6 million ($650,000 to each of the teams); each of the 25 players received approximately $26,000. The two teams that lost in the third round received $1.6 million; each of the 25 players received approximately $65,000. The Stanley Cup Finalist received $3 million; each of the 25 players received approximately $117,000. Stanley Cup Champions received $4.9 million; each of the 25 players received approximately $200,000.

  8. Have you seen what went down in that guy's world a while back? Raided by the cops, who found northing, but they did break a few things and pocket $400. Cops wouldn't pay to fix his stuff, so he wrote a few songs based on the raid, using his own footage, from surveillance cameras, to make some vids. The cops are now suing him, for defamation. Also check out "Lemon Poundcake" and "why you disconnecting my video cameras"
  9. Every time I see this kind of punishment I wonder- Why is the coach eating a $10,000 fine? Heck if I'm the coach, and I see this go down, I'm going on the ice to take a couple of swings, might as well get my money's worth.
  10. And a few months later:
  11. I don't care who he slashed- all players should be treated and 'protected' the same. Every one deserves a 'safe' workplace, not just the special people.
  12. The Heat is on: This weekend, up to the low 30s for Sunday/Monday. going to get to 28 or 29 in Powell River. Seems Vancouver will be about 2 or 3 degrees cooler on those days
  13. I've only talked to him a couple of times, but he seems like a really good dude. As I have previously mentioned, he put on an 1 and 1/2 show at Glendale Lodge way back in ........?, for the staff and residents at the former Handicapped hospital, in Victoria. I thanked him for that, while push starting his van on the Skeena Queen, about 15 years later.
  14. Dermott and Bear are RFA so kind of gone, or kind of here.
