I'm probably among the minority that's in favor of Torts sticking around through at least the first part of next season. I had grown pretty tired of Gillis first after the Schneider trade on Draft Day last year, then the Luongo trade was the icing on the cake. As for the locker room incident against the Flames, that wasn't a smart move on Torts' part and he certainly deserved to get suspended for pulling that stunt. But the way I see where Torts sits in the Canucks future, he's only been in Vancouver for one season and it would be pretty pointless for Trevor Linden to sack him after only one year behind the bench.
