Agreed.
But once again we can't really be surprised by this can we? We know he's always been emotional guy, but we have a goalie who doesn't want to be here because of what's happened here over the last 2 1/2 seasons.
So here's Lui, maybe still disappointed from not being THE guy in Socchi, feeling humiliated once again by this team that he's given his all to. Maybe the comments were uncalled for, but I thought they were funny and a nice jab at a GM who fully deserved it.
The reality is Lui has played the good soldier throughout the last couple of years, and if this GM couldn't foresee that ANOTHER drama could possibly unfold by bringing Lui back this year, then he's more of an idiot than I thought.
All this drama once again is exactly why when Gillis and Aquaman realized last summer they could not trade him, they HAD to buy him out, and by not doing so they've brought all this on themselves.
I've loved Lui as a goalie, but I'm tired of the drama that's followed him and this team for the last 3 years. It's time for him to go. Hopefully Mike Gillis isn't too far behind him.
