  1. this segment was way over the top than mae young giving birth and mcmahon faking his own death. yep.
  2. i'm really loving ddp's youtube channel also the new nwo documentary is on youtube. get it while it's hot!
  3. he did last week, or the week before with another segment with foley
  4. he'll make it for sure. ddp released a video of a juice thing they're all going to try out. about tonight's RAW? out of 3 hours, the best bit was with daniel bryan, of course
  5. for those wondering what's up with jake http://youtu.be/g97pMR6JeRg
  6. aj needs to be competing now.. "John cena and I are... just friends~" *crowd pops* wut. that had to be digitally put in. i want this angle dead. now.
  7. i agree. i used to watch both raw and nitro up until late 1998 or so when nitro kind of got stale to me and i was all tuning in to raw just to see what happens with austin the lower-mid carders of wcw far excelled wwe, but the E found ways to make most of the shows interesting to watch. the whole ministry of darkness thing was genius and the twist of mcmahon ****ing with austin was gold. outside of that there wasn't a whole lot outside of the new age outlaws, kane, al snow i guess, test and the big show , val venus and kei en tai, the brood and all but i'd pair that in with the ministry of darkness for the short time they were in it for the lower-mid carders. owen hart should have been much more than he was. it's a shame they didn't do much more with him wcw had more character on their roster but wwf at the time had the best main eventers. then jericho jumped ship. any interest for wcw at that time died. then the hardy boyz, dudleys, edge and christian revived the tag team division after 2 some years of nothing. was great tv. i didn't really care for the sexual stuff, actually then again i was only in grade 6 at the time (around 98-99). i wanted to see mcmahon get his ass whipped. i wanted to see austin, the rock, triple h, all those guys, but looking back, the sexual stuff was always a little meh. i get that it's edgy and all but the bra and panties matches just never ever did it for me i think that was one of the best things about the attitude era was mcmahon getting the **** balls beaten out of him for the company. he's easily the best character ever
  8. i'm so glad that's not the case. jack swagger is a talented guy and they want to give him a new start. giving him a name like that kind of killed it all in the first place. putting the belt on him just ruined him. that name just never grew on me like, say, dolph ziggler has i feel i should comment on monday's raw. no one else finds it weird that, of course, wwe changes things up again? with the whole team foley vs team punk thing. they make that up on the spot, then a week later they completely change it to a triple threat match for the title with cena, and of course, ryback with vince doing this annoying, time killing segment with vicky with changing it to a title match with cena and ryback, which had people screaming at their TV's to GET TO THE POINT. i guess that's their way of killing the aj/cena thing? i hope?
  9. one of my friends bought wwe 13. he says it's better than wwe 12. attitude era is fun, create a wrestler is always good. his only complaint was the lame commentary (it's always been dull and boring through out all wwe games)
  10. oh god please. no. she can't waste anymore money getting squashed a third time. i loved how on the nbc feed they were throwing her senate race under the bus
  11. oh these early results of linda getting smacked down in the senate race put a smile on my face
  12. you'd think he was trained by HBK himself lol only thing he was missing on that turnbuckle spot was turning himself upside down and inside out then getting meat hooked
  13. whats with the lame tmz type video packages? i also love how the crowd was so behind daniel bryan then the match ends in like 30 seconds. then sandow vs kane the crowd didn't care anymore. gg, WWE. wade barrett biggest reaction of the night show had no flow whatsoever tonight
  14. i agree. all i know is i hope mark makes a full recovery and brings back the hall of pain. he has so much potential material to work with should he return. he could come back and be all "what the hell has happened here while i was gone" route and take out guys like kane saying he's all hugging guys now. you know stuff like that. then go on a war path for the world title. hell even have show booked as some unstoppable machine. make us believe that no one can stop him, even super sheamus. then mark henry comes out and there's a legit threat for show's title. have that title mean something
  15. i wouldn't call wwe getting consistent viewership right now. they're hovering in the mid 2.0's right now when they were at 3.0-3.5 or so before the switch to 3 hour raw shows (wouldn't even factor in monday night football either). viewership is dropping, ppv buyrates are dropping. i think we're starting to see some promise in guys like ziggler, cesaro, and a few other guys. i really like justin gabriel for example. he just needs a personality and he'd be a beast
  16. would have saved that ppv from being a complete waste of money lol i finished my aj sigs if anyone wants to check them out i don't know which one to use now
  17. i'd love mark henry to come back. he's lost a lot of weight since the surgery. he has one of the best theme songs today. i'm not the biggest fan of cena but he has some awesome shirts. i actually really like the rise above hate message
  18. theres just too much history with the old school RAW IS WAR i think if it weren't for austin getting the **** kicked out of him at mania 13 i would have tuned in to nitro and never turned back. hell, my MOM ordered royal rumble and we marked the **** out when austin 'won' then got pissed off at the whole fatal 4 way deal at in your house, but as soon as my mom was all "meh **** it, we'll order mania 13" because she was hoping undertaker would win the belt at the time. me and my dad were austin all the way. at that point we were behind him. you know that stuff they say "dont try this at home or at school" i was giving random kids stunners at school and was actually hurting them as a result but i didn't care i was stone cold steve austin. i would even flip them off as the principal would run out then drag me to the office then call my parents
  19. might be recorded by a potato but it's the only thing i could find WWE hadn't taken down. i think it was the following RAW after wrestlemania 13 or the one after they used the thorn in your eye but this was my childhood right here hell looking at old vids i would still mark out when vince would be all WELCOME EVERYONE TO RAW IS WAAARRR!
  20. that was my favourite cena shirt. i couldn't get one when i wanted too because the men's sizes are way too big for me. i can only fit in the lady's sizes but they were out at the time :|
  21. and this is kind of what i've always complained about. i mean, i didn't start watching wwe religiously until 1997; i was in grade 4. i would have my friends over every monday night to watch RAW is WAR and the PPVs when my parents would order them on the black boxes. remember those?? but i did watch back in 1996 when bret was the champ before he dropped the belt to shawn. i just remember when shawn was champ back in '97 you had guys like vader, undertaker, austin, bret and to a lesser extent ken shamrock, after him for the title. shawn's matches with undertaker is what made him so great. the psychology between the two. looking back at those matches now-- mainly their feud after summerslam, and those segments on RAW IS WAR (emphasis on the caps-- the importance) leading up to ground zero, you just wanted taker to kick the **** out of shawn michaels and your hatred for shawn would keep growing and growing up until he got just... messed up at badd blood. and the thing is, even after the hell in a cell, he never got stale. you just kept hating him and then at survivor series all hell just broke loose. i think around that time, wwe started to gain some ground over wcw in the monday night wars. the seeds were sewn. wwe just can't seem to create magic like that any more. i think the talent today could really benefit from having a guy like shawn teach them what it's all about to make an exciting match. i listen to a LOT of interviews and podcasts on youtube (@TVTrax). for the most part they're actual news reports going on in the E and TNA with a couple dirtsheet reports, but i mainly watch/listen new uploads of solomonster, don tony and kevin castle show and whatever show konnan is featured on, MLW i think it is if you want me to be honest, i still watch wwe nowadays because i still think that there is hope. back in 1994-1995 and 1996 people were going through the same thing. my dad stopped watching wwf after hogan left and started watching again in 1997 when i was watching and thought stone cold steve austin was the best thing on tv since sliced bread. thats how i feel about cm punk but he's so watered down right now, and it's just showing wwe just going through the motion, pumping out random and inconsistent shows then blaming the fans for the lack of viewership
