How about look at the suggested trade in total context......not just one part. Weegar and Lindholm have far better defensive capabilities, and with the secondary part of the trade just as big as the primary, because Weegar actually helps balance the team and gives Hughes a much better playing partner. The other part of this is Lindholm is actually a center, where as Miller is more a winger who plays center, which is part of his defensive problem. Try to keep in mind that Boeser is slow and not defensive in any way......the game is played at both ends!

Well, IMO.............Calgary is in a tight spot......If they start moving guys like Lindholm for picks and prospects, first the team will rebell, secondly, teams will offer crap. But if they can make a player for player deal. or players for players deal, they can continue to compete until they age out. Miller is better than Lindholm, and Lindholm wants out.............advantage Canucks! I would like to see a 2 for 2 deal................ Miller ($8,000,000), and Boeser ($6,650,000) for Lindholm ($4,850,000) , Weegar ($6,250,000) Understanding that the caps equal out well pretty well and Calgary has 3 RHD in Anderson, Tanev and Weegar Maybe we retain on Boeser to even it out completely

Here is my issue with raising the cap floor. During the Dispersal draft...........was there any teams, that would have drafted Taylor Hall or Drew Doughty, but looked at their Cap, and said, hey, I would love them, but I can not afford them, so I will pass. This is certainly not fair to them.....I had lots of Cap, so not my issue, but everyone knew what they were doing............exactly like the real guys, so some passed on expensive talent, that did not have to.............only to have the league inflate the Cap to appease those that were over their cap. IMO, this is not right..........That will be the end of my comments on it. I am just saying.

Maybe us teams that have to reach the cap floor should have special cap considerations too, so that we do not have to sign bad contracts to get up to it.......it is the same argument in reverse as being tight to the ceiling.........just saying. Again, I am sure the decision was made in trying to be fair. I am good with that! It is just a point for debate. (And I like whining!)

I agree with you on this Ilunga. Some of my decisions during the dispersal draft were based on trying to keep cap flexibility, and I actual remember thinking to my self, in regards to Drew Doughty that who ever takes him is going to be pushed for cap, and there will be some tough decisions made, as to who to trade/keep. Then in one single blow, that concern was looked after by artificially raising the limit. Yes, it helped some, but it punished others. IMO, that is not right, and should not have been done. This is exactly the same problem that the Canucks have today, as others have as well. GM's made decisions based on talent and not asset management. Which is part of the whole equation. I now, know that teams will basically not have to make those decisions, and the league should have taken it to a vote, where I/we could have had a discussion on it. OH, well, what is done is done, and I hold not grudges, but I think it is a point that should have been discussed. Hindsight is always 20/20.

I would just like to post this here, so that all members can see this, as well as any future members. I have been having problems understanding the collective agreement and getting contracts sign. That is in part, because of the learning curve, and part because of my health. I would just like to thank @canuck2xtreme @Mike Vanderhoek @ThatMike for there guidance and patience, in helping me. I think it is important for any future members that join , to know what kind of support, they have behind them, coming into a new league. I am sure that those, I have not used, are as equally, diligent, and helpful, and I appreciate all the help. Things do not always go as planned, but these guys do their best to help in anyway possible. (all in their spare time) So, thank you again, fellows Regards JISAHN

After reading this last comment, it occured to me that we have omitted ethnicity, as I can remember the terrible words that depicted where that person came from, regardless of skin color..........it works both ways, but in some ways I can not blame them, because of language, etc......but again, it all connects and divides us..... We are all at fault............whites more than others...........but with deepest respect...........the Chinese are not far off.......but I am sure, it is with all ethnic groups, to some extent..... What is that called, when you just keep going in circles, and more circles? That is what it appears to be like. Kinda like those Russian dolls, you open one, and there is another inside, and so on and so on! As I have said many times....what a Fn mess!

I agree......... I mean, if a person wants to say...........all politicians are idiots...........I am fine with that, but if he says all white politicians are idiots, that is racist To me, there is a caveat.......... It seems to me, when a dark skinned person says he is dark skinned, that is racist, as it differentiates his skin color from someone else......as I suggest in my speech, skin color is only the covering.........the blood is the same color. The same can be said for every other color of the rainbow. we need to stop, Identifying ourselves by color, we all do it, and it is wrong. B ut as to your statement.............lines and boundaries, need to be established...........which like I said earlier......they already have been......we just have forgot decentcy, and what is right and what is wrong. You simply can not just say what you think or feel. It is not a god given right. There are boundaries, but unfortunately, some parents have stopped teaching them, and there are no consequences, and then it esculates more and more, until we simply forget what they were..............to me that is the sad part! I mean, look at the Evangelists down in the states......they used to be god fearing, and now they are self serving.......along way from where they started. It all connects!
