ticketed for pulling out mobile order at drive thru
Jimmy James replied to wai_lai416's topic in Off-Topic General
Yes, that is park for manual. 100% cop would be a guaranteed no-show. They float these tickets hoping you won’t dispute, he knows he’s wrong. He was probably looking for drunks at the drive through, and got bored. -
I’m not gonna lie. Vancouver born and raised, the rain is in my soul.

I’m not really gonna fully hate on the guy. Bruce is an interesting coach who’s done well. What I will say is, I don’t believe he knows how to win/compete in today’s NHL. He’s got a lot of years behind him, but to keep looking to the alumni for answers, just isn’t gonna manifest a winner (although, neither will doing it with inexperienced youth). The game has made boundless annual changes in the last decade. could we maybe get someone in the middle? I mean, come on.

One take away is that the last two years has seen the largest global collaboration in history, quickest funding and fastest/best testing in history. That’s a lot of good. Remember how hypocritical the religious right is. Trump is the perfect example. Morning prayers with the most aggressive evangelists, and yet he still was vaccinated and also received some of the first Covid treatments. They are the most scared. They will always talk a mean conspiracy game, but will quietly fund anything of concern or threat to themselves.

You’re not wrong there cloth masks are to the N95, what the sponge or the rhythm-method is to birth control.

Condoms are 98% effective. I’m pretty sure people are capable of accepting reality, and making it work. Nobody ever said masks were a fail-safe, they were only ever a protective layer for crowded areas. Outrageously effective at reducing infection. All of BC’s doctors saw and were exposed to Covid patients throughout the last few years. Vaccines, masks and PPE’s worked really well for them. That strong evidence in my book.

Two decades of helping other teams break slumps, and helping opposing players break milestones and records. -

Yup. Hughes is drastically overcast in his current role. Coaches should have him on a cap. 20-22 mins max. They will negatively effect his career arch at this rate. -

OEL looked like an actual NHL D man, but the rest were all lack-lustre. Not enough. Forwards showed they are young and fast enough to perform on the fast break, but that won’t win games. we can’t even judge if Demko is performing, until the ‘Pylons on Ice’ show is over. -

Brother, watch that first Zucarello goal and tell me again that defence isn’t that awful. cross ice pass directly in front of the goal… nobody there. Nobody. -

Playing hockey with no defence seems a tough hill to push a rock up. -
I would second this. I deal with Telus at work, and Shaw at home. Shaw residential service is far superior to Telus business service. That says everything.

You are correct. My apologies. I will re-calibrate. I get frustrated when people that don’t understand medicine preach as though they do. I would prefer to be part of the conversation, and that was not my best foot forward. apologies @mdehaan

It has always been prevalent, I just provided you pre-Covid stats of it’s prevalence. It has always been the underlying cause of many different deaths. Now it’s become table talk because people who dont understand what it is are using it as an anti-vax banner.

Myocarditis was discovered in the mid 1800’s . It’s directly linked to, and one of the main causes of SIDS (present in 17-20% of cases, pre-Covid) Sudden Adult Death Syndrome is actually Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome for those that have any idea about what they are talking about, and it’s been widely studied since the 70’s. Most cardiac deaths are directly linked to arrhythmias precipitating cardiac arrest. These are most often caused by faulty electrical signalling to the heart. let me know if I can clear up any other low hanging fruit for you.

If you ask Telus for a replacement, they’ll likely send one with a return slip for the current one. in all honesty, I’ve been playing games with tech and heat as I have a small enclosure that houses modem, router and cable box. The modem and the cable box can both easily reach 90-95 degrees internally during operation. Ventilation and two tiny inline usb fans have solved all my problems.

Haha, I just noticed the thread, saw CGY wasn’t on the list, and thought ‘somebody needs to footnote the off season changes in this discussion.’ It’s takes a lot to make me post a comment, but feel free to post one more, and reclaim your throne

This. Their handling of their two best players jumping ship is nothing short of a stunning achievement. What a recovery. Hard to swallow as a Canuck fan, as all our previous Canucks are looking great over there.
