  1. yes of coures re-sign him. he is producing like a top 6 player but he is going to have to take a discount. 1) only has had 1 other good year 2) stay with his hometown team, a team that he does well on id say if he wants longer term than anywhere from 2-3mill if he wants to try to earn bigger money than he has to go on another 1 year contract 2 mill
  2. this probably wont come as a shock but bob mckenize said on the tsn world junior tournament countdown that he considers Bo Horvat to be a lock for the team
  3. generally teams should never trade a potential franchise player like kane. But you have to get the feeling that the organization is getting tired of dealing with all these rumors of him being unhappy. if im the jets these are two deals i would offer the canucks: Evander kane - Ryan Kesler, 1st round pick Evander Kane - Alex Edler, Zack Kassian or Alex Burrows, and 1st or jensen, or gaunce, or corrado of course the price will come down after negotiations, but when your dealing a player like kane, you gotta shoot for the moon; but to be honest i dont think these deals are that far off from what the jets will realistically want back
  4. not doubt he has solidified himself as an elite level prospect. people are starting to see why just about every GM, and reporter was raving about him at the draft. Bob Mckenzie: Who will be one of the steals of the draft? Bo Horvat Pierre Mcguire: Great pick, great player; one team had him ranked 4th; cant miss prospect, they cant miss Word was at the draft, just about every GM agreed that Vancouver made a great pick. More so a lot of the same GM's were jealous that Canucks got Bo
  5. exactly this. you have guaranteed NHL player in gaunce. if he stays at center then i think his ceiling is a third line center. however if he is willing to play the wing in the NHL then he could be a second line winger who chips in 40-50 points in his prime
  6. with mcdavid and dane fox (both in top 5 scoring) as the first and second line centers it looks lke guance will play the wing. since he already played wing on a line with mcdavid and brown im guessing thats where hell play. either way great opportunity for guance, his point totals are gonnna sky rocket. and its always good for a players development to be in winning positive environment
  7. a ppg goal, an assist, won almost every face-off he took, and to top it off shut down connor mcdavid
  8. the article the covers a lot of topics but i wanted to focus on Kane section So once again the rumors that Kane is unhappy in Winnipeg are resurfacing. Specifically, he is not gettting along with the head coach Claude Noel. This has caused Jets GM to at least field offers from other teams that are calling about Kane. What do you guys think is Kane really available or is this just a stunt by the GM to send Kane a message. What do you think the asking price is for Kane, and do you think the canucks are interested?
  9. nice to see hes still putting up numbers. even more impressive when you see thqat domi had no points. so i think Bo more than capable of scoring and getting points without domi
