    I think them adding Graves and Karlsson, as well revamping their bottom six which was completely inept defensively last year will do wonders for them. I mean come on they can run Crosby/Malkin/Guentzel/Rakell/Karlsson on the same powerplay lol. Another thing with getting Karlsson is he’ll take the load off of Letang which’ll in turn help keep him healthy.

    Guentzel - Crosby - Rust Smith - Malkin - Rakell O’Connor - Acciari - Nylander Pitlick - Eller - Nieto Graves - Letang Pettersson - Karlsson Smith - Joseph Jarry Wow that team is loaded. They completely re-did their bottom six as well. I really like this team as a sleeper pick for the cup

    Exactly. As I’ve been saying, the people who were SCREAMING for a guy like Hronek are the same ones who are shocked it actually cost a fair bit to get said player.

    A theory one of my friends who’s a Penguins had was they were going to wait on what happens with Drew O’Connor and the second buyout window as one of the players rumoured to be going to San Jose wasn’t waving his NMC which has been the holdup this entire time.

    Holiday or nothing. I’m still annoyed they teased us with Burn It To the Ground last year which would have at least been a proper NHL goal song what we have right now just does not do it.

    Having some kind of nagging injury is really the only reasonable excuse I think of. And if that’s the case, complete and utter incompetency from management continuing to play him.

    LA Edmonton Vegas Colorado Dallas Seattle Vancouver Winnipeg I originally said 5th but I think 6th-8th is definitely the most realistic.

    The price was two double A starters for a guy who brings more gas than anyone else on our staff. It’s worth it on that factor alone.

    Regardless of whether or not Grusch was telling the truth, and I’m inclined to think he is given his position and the fact he was under oath, it’ll only be a matter of time before aliens/UFO’s will officially confirmed.

    Can’t win with some people here honestly. The people that hate this trade are the same ones who were screaming from the roof tops to get a legitimate top 4 RD but just completely ignored the price tag. We need to get going with the core that we have, and not waste another 3-5 years or however long it would have taken for whoever we would have selected with the Islanders’ 1st to develop.

    Actually he’s quite the opposite. He’s right handed for one thing and two he’s sound defensively and can play physically when needed. You comparing him to Irwin is laughable at best.

    I honestly think it’s just not playing up to our potential. So fact we’re still 11 games above .500 right in the thick of the playoff race is really telling as to how good our pitching and defense has been.
