  1. Sorry friend, I don't like to see people get upset. Skille is the only other fourth line winger on the team, hence the comparison. If there was anyone else I could have used as a comparable I might have.
  2. You understand what we're up against here perfectly. I can't add anything to that.
  3. I thought Guance actually had one of his better games tonight vs Chicago. He was moving pretty well and getting in on the forecheck. He was making body contact and actually turned over some pucks and had a couple of scoring chances.
  4. I've always said, if you want to tank trading Tanev is the way to make it happen. We aren't near the same team without him in the lineup.
  5. It's not just that he isn't scoring, he isn't getting chances to score either. I'm not sure if it's a lack of hockey smarts to anticipate and get to the right place or a lack of quickness to get there but I suspect it's the latter. Skille plays the other side on the line and gets some quality scoring chances. Guance just doesn't; the difference is stark.
  6. Willie should have spotted the inflammation around Rodin's bifurcated kneecap and alerted Dr Regan before this.
  7. Well, he only had 6:04 of ice time but the nice body check he did throw and the fluid skating he exhibited were two things I have yet to see from Guance.
  8. I think trading Miller is off the table Bouds. Someone is going to have to play goal for us the rest of this year and next and Markstrom is not a 60 game work horse at this stage, hopefully some day he is.
  9. Continued all star caliber play from the most underappreciated Canuck. Hopefully we can get Miller signed for two more years soon. It's still Miller Time!
  10. He seems sound positionally, and there is some smack in his body contact. Good set of wheels on him too. Willie ought not to have a problem slotting into the lineup as the twelfth forward based on tonight's performance.
  11. Our first look at Boucher tonight in a Canucks uniform and so far I like his skating and compete level. He seems to be responsible defensively and to finish his checks. He has already shown me enough to supplant Brendan Gaunce in the fourth line lw spot.
  12. There is no reason we can't sign him to another one year contract and try again next year. He is still young. Providing he returns to 100 percent health, that is.
  13. I'd like to see Gaunce down in Utica working hard developing his game. Hre has shown himself to be a dedicated worker, and there is more work to do before he becomes an every day NHL player in my opinion. Besides, Utica is starved for decent forwards right now, Gaunce could make a difference there.
