  1. Why not split the difference and take Ehrtanen then. We'll never resolve this; best go with a sensible hybrid.
  2. The Hockey Writers top 150: http://thehockeywriters.com/2014-nhl-draft-rankings-war-room-april-edition/
  3. The Hockey Writers top 150 list has 'The Electric Eel' at 6. And so do I !!! Risers of Note 6 from 13 - Ehlers, Nikolaj, W/C, 6’0, 162 lb., Halifax, QMJHL If there was anyone hotter than Leon Draisaitl, it could only be Nikolaj Ehlers who finished the year with 104 points and an incredible league-leading +65. This is what I wrote about him in February in the Prospect Profile Series: “if he keeps improving on his dynamic play as he has so far this year, I could see him pushing the top 10 by the end of the year.” He not only continued his improvements, he accelerated his growth; he brought out both the inner Drouin and the inner MacKinnon within himself. A star in the making, so exhilarating to watch. - See more at: http://thehockeywriters.com/2014-nhl-draft-rankings-war-room-april-edition/#sthash.tggzN9Y0.dpuf
  4. Here's another list; this time from The Hockey Writers. It's a top 150. 5. I enjoyed those GLASSJAW. Everyone else-keep it up!!!
  6. He's ranked sixth or seventh on virtually all of the most recent mock drafts around the net. Have a look around. The way he's trending we might not get a crack at him with our pick.
  7. He's dangerous alright. When he has the puck on his stick.
  8. Why does Schroeder keep coming up in the Ehlers discussion. I would think Patrick Kane would be a more apt comparison in terms of style of play, position and height/weight In fact I know he would. The Schroeder comparison is just way off base on every count.
  9. Ah, she's just some girl working for a Calgary paper who was tryin' to be a good Flamer and put her foot in it. Byron and Bob Hartley are the real problem here.
