  1. A great one. Every year there are a couple rumours that approach this one. Ramos, Vidal, Thiago etc.
  2. That's why I'm not mad. Its a business. I'm a little sour that he couldn't preform in any position last year. He played CM, CAM, Wing, Striker. His confidence was shot and I'll be sad to see him go. I can say that from my POV, UTD are in a solid race for second and a world class centre back away from a race with Chelsea for first. My top 7 predictions: 1. Chelsea 2. United 3. Arsenal 4. City 5. Tottenham 6. Liverpool 7. Everton
  3. I'll be wearing white. And in in the family section. Thanks for the info. You're alright for Chelsea fan
  4. Going to my first Caps game today and first game ever in BC Place. Anything I should bring? Any help would be appreciated!
  5. Ibra and LVG have a sour relationship. The mirror is reporting that Llorente is the mystery striker, but I'd rather not.
  6. As a United fan, I don't want Otamendi and Ranks is a pipe dream. A player like Laporte could be a better buy: more potential, left footed(LvG preference), and cheaper. Otamendi looks like a one hit wonder and a player that isn't worth 50 million. I'm partial on Di Maria tbh. I wouldn't mind keeping him, but if United can recoup all the money they spent on him it would be good business. We have no use for him right now as we have depth in midfield and can use the money next year on Bale if Reus moves on to Real. Caboose is right about the Galacticos though. Only way Bale moves is if he is pushed out by Hazard or Reus, the latter more likely.
  7. And some of the draftees were born in September the year before.
  8. How'd you feel about Sam Johnstone. He looked amazing to me. Could be a good premier league keeper in a few years.
  9. I revert my earlier statement we were playing a 4-3-3 with Depay as a 10. Schneiderlin was impressive, Darmian was a beaut, Shaw and Mata were quite good as well. Carrick was lost out there and Young/Rooney were meh. Depay's decision making could use a little work
  10. United playing a 4-4-2 to start the first half with Depay and Rooney as the two strikers. Kind of disappointed but Mata's crossing ability led to the first goal. 11 minutes in and I'm impressed with Schneiderlin.
  11. I couldn't be happier when I found out. Than I saw it was by English newspapers and my hopes were crushed.
  12. The prem is one league where that is not set in stone. Every team below Chelsea aquired players that will have a positive impact: Arsenal signed a goalkeeper, City got Sterling, United got a new midfield. Chelsea might be considered the strongest team last year but they didn't improve. Falcao is a gamble at best and has shown nothing that says he'll regain form. If Memplhis and Di Maria hit the ground running the title race could be between Chelsea and United. Adding a centre back like Otamendi would make the teams equals in my eyes.
  13. But you said defender...jk I don't see centre back as dire a need as many believe. We have Smalling, Rojo, Jones, McNair, Blackett, and Evans. Smalling and Rojo are ok as starters and McNair had a good first season in the Prem. Playing Valencia and Rafael at right back led to some problems defensively. Anyone remember Rafael marking Drogba on a set piece lol. The midfield signings are what United have needed for ages. AdM is going and Carrick can't be depended on for a full season.
  14. I'm still having a good chuckle. He only cost this much because of the "English Tax". If he was Spanish or French or Brazilian, he'd go for Half that. He's not worth more than Depay imo, and united overplayed for him.
  15. My CB wishlist: 1. Otamendi 2. Ramos Strikers; 1. Muller 2. Kane 3. Lacazette 4. Benzema 5. Cavani
  16. I wasn't around for the Beckham and Giggs and their rise from the academy but I always wanted to see it happen again. Some British kids making their way up the youth system and just taking the football world by storm. The way the English youth system is going, I don't see many young stars in the future.
  17. I'm still debating in my head if this is worse than some NBA player contracts. Some Grizzly players getting 5M for 5.5 PPG smh.
  18. Nothing is worse than only signing Depay and seeing all the other clubs just doing their transfer business. It has been a pretty hyped summer for United fans and I hope we land one of Schneiderlin or Bastian, and another striker.
  19. That's the same 27th seed who Milos beat last year. Kyrgios also has beaten Federer and Nadal. Very promising Australian player.
  20. I trust Sky more than some of the other sources. All of the English papers are trash an thy had Firmino already signed with us. Man Utds signings last year were pretty under the radar like Herrera, Depay, Rojo, or actually reported by a really trusted source if it was a big name like AdM
