While watching the game I noticed a player with really impressive explosiveness and overall speed.
It was Gaunce.
The guy is 6 foot 2, 205lbs so you can't really expect speed to be his strength but its definitely not a weakness. I'm not sold on his puck handling skills but his hockey sense is fantastic and has a decent shot.
If given the right opportunity I think he can be a very solid 3rd liner. Kinda like Bolland, but not as douchey.
Wouldn't mind some douchiness in him. Seems to nice to play solid to play gritty hockey

I am so surprised Genie hasn't lost a set in Wimbledon yet. As for Raonic he will need to step up to beat Federer, the dude can return serves like the best of them. Can you imagine the double upset, Djokavic and Federer both letting the two 23 year olds at a chance at the grand slam.

I was at the game and saw how jumbled the defence was when Ottawa was on the rush. I think we are in the middle of two types of hockey skill and grit. We aren't meshing like we should. Henrik has no one to pass to, Kesler's wingers aren't shooting, the third line disappeared in the 2nd and 3rd period. The 4th line was our best at times.

Kesler is a great two way forward in his prime. Edlers a solid 2-3 dman with chances to be a top pairing 27 minute a night consistent guy. MG better not make the team lose in the long run by losing these two guys

It is going to be a great weekend of great games. Cant wait to see the Hawks and Broncos go at it. The defense need to step it up a notch and Sherman needs to return to last years form.
