  1. As someone one who really didn't expect Demver to have a chance and was rooting for the underdog on Sunday, the game was great. Sure bad calls happen all the time and the Pats were missing their three recording threats by the end of the game the game was entertaining and fun to watch.

Not to forget I was still feeling pretty good about the Hawks win and Russell Wilsons passing game.

  2. Big GoldenState fan. I just love the way they play up tempo and they're so unpredictable. Curry can catch your oth the three. If steph isn't going Klay and Barnes can provide scoring. Similarly I love watching San Antonio play. The extra pass can be so useful.

For the raps I hope they have a good season but I still doubt their 4. PatPat isn't good enough imo.

  3. Pretty damn close, anytime a Patsgate gets brought up you cry about the crowd noise thing.

So bringing up a -gate where the Pats were supposed beneficiaries does not entitle a defense of a time they were supposedly victimized by something "grey". I'm not even a Pats fan but if you bring up deflategate he can bring up any case where the Pats were at a loss. We all need to grow up forget the last season and look at the upcoming future.
  4. Colts fans are funding a "deflate this" blimp to fly around next week.

All the fake, pumped in crowd noise in the world won't be able to stop Brady from putting up a 50 spot on that sad defense.

I hope Luck plays cuz it'll be kinda boring if he doesn't.

Also don't see a favourable match for Seattle but I hope that O-line doesn't kill Russell.

  5. Gaunce's preseason is over-rated around here. He played solid but didn't do anything to stand out either, which is what you want to see in preseason. Jake is two years younger and far less polished yet impacted the game more on the whole. Just because Gaunce is more 'polished' and plays a safe, mistake free game doesn't mean he had a better preseason.

They both didn't do amazing, and if JB had the option they'd be playing opposite wings on the number 2 line in Utica. Circumstances and the fact that JV is ready for pro is the reason he is on the roster.

Does he deserve to be playing right now?

This is a question of who does he displace. Vrbata was our leading scorer last year and is the sniper on that second line. Hansen is a perfect player to have on the third line and Jake has shown he can play on the 4th. If he plays it will be in rotation with Prust/Dorsett/Cracknell. Also one player that "earned" his spot was Cracknell.

In my perfect world Vrbata is dealt for a good pick and Virtanen takes his spot. At the deadline Higgins and Jensen are dealt for a d prospect.
