  1. I think the coyotes will take the 2025 2nd rounder. It's definitely worth holding out for (unless there's a great player that falls to the 3rd in 2023, great option to have). They already have three 1st rounders and five seconds in 2022. Better to spread the ELCs out.
  2. If that is what he would get than Miller is in line for 10 million
  3. Easy to forget the kid is only 19 years old. He is going to continue to get better and quite frankly his ceiling could be tremendous. Could be an X factor one day in this league.
  4. Our 4th line is as good as its been in over 10 years. I wouldn't remove Motte Lammy or Highmore for Smith.
  5. Yep boeser was 33rd in games played and 5th in goals amongst the listed RW's
  6. He is 45th among nhl forwards over his 5 NHL seasons . I'm sure you would love to use his 9 game audition at the end of 2017 as a full season to help your case but that is ridiculous. If we are talking right wingers only he is at 5th
  7. 113 goals ÷ 297 games = .38 goals per game At an 82 game pace that would be 31 goals. As far as his numbers being "pretty average" if you look back to the last full nhl season (2018-19) those numbers would put you at #36 in the entire league. That would be ahead of Zibanejad, Huberdeau, Aho, Laine, Forsberg, Eichel, Panarin.... I think you get the gist. Even just look at last season. He was #19 in the entire nhl in goals. Ahead of Stone, Scheifele, Mackinnon, Pastrnak, Kreider, Huberdeau... I think you get the gist. That's pretty average to you? Those are some pretty ridiculous standards!!
  8. Are you counting this season that is only 50 games in? Are you also counting the last 2 shortened seasons?
  9. How many goals has he scored per 82 games?
  10. 29 goals in 62 games But but but he can't score 30 goals. Career .378 goal per game average... thats 31 goals for every 82 games player But but but he can't score 30 goals.
  11. 4 goals in his last 6 games (with 2 periods to play)
  12. Because of a shortened season. I can see why people would slag someone if they were injury prone like he was earlier in his career. To score on a 30 goal pace in a full 82 game season you must score at least .365 goals per game, last season he scored at a .410 goal per game rate. There were only 18 other players that scored more goals. Fact of the matter is Brock scores an average of 31 goals per 82 games, this isn't a flash in the pan season, it's his entire career (.378 goals per game) But "oh no!!! He never scored 30 in a full season, only 29 in 62 games". What a bum!
  13. To be fair he played every single game last season. Had it been an 82 game season he would have only needed 7 goals in 26 games to hit 30. Pretty much a given.
  14. Im not going to slag Garland, he is a good player on a good deal... but Brock puts up more goals and more points year in and year out. To make a claim that Garland is "twice the player" makes me think you ate paint chips as a child.
  15. He played every single game that season, was never injured. In fact he even played all 17 playoff games for us. So in total that season he had 33 goals in 86 games that's a pace of 31.46 goals per 82 games.
  16. He scored 27 in a 69 game season... that would be on pace for 32 in 82 This season he has scored 17 in 47... that would be on pace for 30 in 82.
  17. He was actually at a sparkling .918 save percentage before his 5 goal melt down in his last start.
  18. Unfortunately that would be impossible without his consent. He has a no MOVE clause, that means you can't even move him to the minors without his permission.
  19. Neither of those teams have the pieces needed to land Miller.
  20. Yeah last year was a good one. Boeser had a .88 points per game. I don't get this "if Zacha had more opportunity" rhetoric. The guy is 3rd in ice time amongst forwards on his team and is getting 61% O-zone starts. He's had ample opportunity.
