Celtic has their elements as well, but nowhere as bad as the blue corner. Half the family are green, so we have some good discussions going on at times (the other corner are sheepshaggers - Although my heart is United) Yes a stonewaller, which would probably have been given, if the opposition had been anyone bar the Gers. League is over anyway. Unfortunately Aberdeen blew it last season (probably the only time they had a decent chance of taking the title, since 1991). Now that Ronny has left the building Celtic is light years ahead.... And the only real joy expected by the Dons support is being above the huns...i other words, back to normal in the North East. PS. Come to think of it where in Scotland are you located? Could see you've got to travel down the road to watch the boys in Green. -

So what else is new in Scottish football...The huns have always been like that. Nobody does anything about it, as the hatred sells the old firm games... the quality of Scottish football doesn't. -
Miller has been absolutely fantastic since coming to Vancouver. Think a lot of fans have had to change their views of him over the last couple of seasons. Best goal tending since Luongo carried the team in his early days as a Canuck.

Don't be, as every word you said is bang on. Looked as if Pogba was still dancing in the locker room, cause his head was not in the game... would have been better to play 10 v 10 than playing Pogba the give away machine... Zlatan looked jaded, and let that loser get into his head. Poor pen... Jones gave away a silly pen, and looked all shaken after that. Have to say though, if that D@£k had stamped on my head and no action had been taken by the ref, I would have smacked him an elbow as well. Or a Keane tackle. However extremely disappointed with the result... and it'll be hard to get a top 4 finish now. Especially with Zlatan probably facing a 3 match ban. -
2017 NHL Draft - Chicago, Illinois June 23-24 2017

Believe there has been a lot of injury issues? If that is the case, Hischier should probably be taken, however can't really afford not to go for either if the opportunity for it is there. See someone saying Hischier is Bure 2.0... Can anyone else confirm this, as 6 month ago everyone was saying it is a poor draft year, and it does not sound like that to me? -

United finally starting to look like a team again. Better by a country mile than under LVGhastly... Will be interesting to see how they fare against the bigger teams in the league. A top 4 still up for grabs. Mourinho has been good for Utd... -

Good result for Utd at Blackburn... followed by a rocket of a draw. Chelsea away. And how lucky can the Gunners get. Sutton tomorrow, and the winner take on Lincoln. Wonder if they manage to frack that up as well... -
Its exactly what's been said over the last couple of years to the 'blow it up' squad... most don't have the stomach for the time it takes to rebuild a team.

well said Shayster... It is what it is... all this whining...

It will be interesting to see how the Virtanen story ends... Bearing in mind that we got both Granlund 23 and Baertchi 24 for small change, and after that they both seemed to have flourished. Still a few years to figure it out.

Utd are starting to catch fire... however its top 4 or bust... I must admit that I am amazed that we are within touching distance of top 4. Don't know if we will make it but this is the best we've been since Fergie left, and still there's room for improvement... Keep it up. -

Great win... well deserved. Despite Mkhitaryen being stretchered off, I don't think it was a particularly dirty challenge. However, thought it was lame, that Rose didn't give Mkhitaryen a tap as he was being carried past him. Total lack of class... Guess he was upset at being skinned constantly by the impressive Armenian.... -

From todays british SUN newspaper... TAX FRAUD Cristiano Ronaldo: Real Madrid star may face jail after huge demand for prosecutors to check tax returns amid fraud allegations Portuguese star is under investigation following latest allegations BY GERARD COUZENS 6th December 2016, 12:26 pm SPAIN’S tax workers’ union Gestha has called on the country’s Inland Revenue bosses to pass any files they have on Cristiano Ronaldo to prosecutors. They insisted state prosecutors should be given the chance to decide whether to launch legal proceedings against the Real Madrid star over alleged tax dodging. SOLARPIX A group of European media outlets including the Sunday Times and Spanish daily El Mundo accused Ronaldo of financial impropriety over the weekend. They also pointed the finger at Arsenal star Mesut Ozil and Jose Mourinho, with the Sunday Times claiming his advisers misled the tax authorities in Britain and Spain during inquiries into more than £10million in earnings hidden through a Caribbean tax haven. Mourinho has denied any wrongdoing and Ronaldo’s Portuguese agents GestiFute defended the Portuguese boss and the former Manchester United winger in a statement, claiming they were both fully compliant with their tax obligations. But Gestha, which represents employees of Spain’s Tax Agency and its Finance Ministry, insisted today on Monday that prosecutors should be consulted over the Ronaldo allegations because the footballer could be facing prison if it was proved he committed tax fraud through the use of offshore accounts and companies. Keep up-to-date with all the latest transfer news and gossip ahead of the January window with SunSport’s daily LIVE blog. They put out a strongly-worded press release speculating about a lengthy prison sentence for one of the world’s best players if he was found to have committed tax crimes. Respected Spanish daily El Mundo has claimed Ronaldo may have diverted up to as much as 150 million euros from image rights contracts to a Caribbean tax haven. Spain’s Finance Minister said on Saturday it “would carry out the inspections it sees fit” following the media revelations. It is thought he may have hid more than £10m from his image rights The footballer is said to be facing ongoing tax inspections over his returns for the years 2011 to 2013, even though El Mundo claimed the alleged impropriety began in 2009 when he signed for Real Madrid. Gestha said in a statement released on Monday: “Gestha today asked the Spanish Tax Agency to forward to state prosecutors the information it has relating to the revelations known as ‘Football Leaks’. published this weekend by the EIC network, which El Mundo forms part of and which mention Cristiano Ronaldo. “Gestha considers that in light of these documents, which include those relating to the Real Madrid footballer, there could be sufficient grounds to forward the case to state prosecutors so they can decide if they should start criminal proceedings.” It added in the statement: “Gestha also consider that the director of Spain’s Tax Agency should explain in the Spanish Parliament under what criteria he decides to refer cases of alleged tax fraud by sportspeople to prosecutors, as well as what the criminal consequences are of only ordering an investigation into three years of tax returns and not others and what reasons exist for that. “In the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Tax Agency has ordered an inspection for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. “For each of those years, if there has been tax fraud, it would probably surpass 600,000 euros and if companies in tax havens had been used, we’d be talking about ‘aggravated fiscal fraud’ which would carry a prison sentence of two to six years for each crime. “However if the player admits wrongdoing and pays back the amounts requested, in his case, the punishment could be reduced so he would receive a maximum prison sentence of 18 months if convicted of three counts of tax fraud and would avoid jail as a first-time offender.” The union said it believed that if Ronaldo had committed any wrongdoing, they would expect his advisors to recommend supplementary backdated voluntary payments for the years 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2015. GestiFute boss Jorge Mendes and his agency have furiously denied any wrongdoing by themselves or any of their clients identified in the media reports. In a statement, GestiFute said: “Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho are fully complaint with their tax obligations with the Spanish and British tax authorities. “Any insinuation or accusation made of Cristiano Ronaldo or Jose Mourinho over the commission of a tax offence will be reported to the legal authorities and prosecuted.” Barcelona star Lionel Messi and his father Jorge were handed a 21-month jail sentence for tax evasion at the start of July. A Spanish court found the Messi’s had evaded POUNDS 3.19 million on the footballer’s image rights from 2007 to 2009. Lawyers for the star announced after the sentence they would appeal, even neither man is expected to serve any prison time because in Spain jail sentences of less than two years for first-time offenders are normally suspended. -

It would actually take two of these teams to go downhill spectacularly, for Utd to get to C/L... Just unreal to watch, however think Everton deserved a share of the spoils, since Utd could finish them off... So now Euro League will become interesting...
