  1. Very well written, when i'm that drunk or high, I usually butcher my grammar and spelling. Mad props to you sir.
  2. Well Weise has outproduced him, in less games. Tostitos actually hits people, he plays his role well and has been a nice suprise this year. Kass has not lived up to the expectations, not even the most pessimistic ones.
  3. The ice time arguments are crap, even Welsh managed to turn some heads getting 2 shifts a game. Weise, Tostitos, Richardson ect, have all exceeded expectation thus far while starting with bottom line duties and linemates. Kass is supposed to be noticeably better than all of them. Not scoring is one thing, but fortheluvafgawd hit someone, create a chance, force a turnover, a shot, something plz.
  4. Weise always gets points vs Nashville, think this is his 8th in 8 or something. Kes knocking on the door of another goal, PP looking sharp. Booth playing strong on the puck.
  5. As crappy as Edler is, he probably buries those chances Hamhuis had.
  6. His skating is rough, very awkward looking, can't adjust quickly to get into position or lay hits.
  7. Didn't really mention anything about his goals, but no way he scores in the low 20's, it took him playing through some serious injuries to drop to that level. I bet he cracks 30 this year, and everyone mutually benefits from the PP, he makes it better and the goals all count the same. Point is his output is a high projection among any of our prospects and management should focus on helping him rather than letting him and the rest of the core slowly decline.
  8. He may have 25 pounds on Kes, if you handed him, well...a 25 pound weight... Kes is taller, faster, and proven. What good is having the next Kes, when we already have the real deal guaranteed and we abandon him in hopes of a prospect becoming as good. Kes has the twins, Lu and a stacked D-core, still needs more help. Good luck expecting Bo Horvat to do half as well when the core is gone.
  9. Nothing wrong with having guys like Higgy, Santo and Hansen. The problem comes when we expect them to overplay there abilities and pencil 2/3 of them on the 2nd. They could all still be here even if we add a top 6 players, and would create a very strong bottom 6.
  10. Seriously? If you don't know, then nobody does lol. Think Berries is right though, Kes vs Columbus in 11. Danny vs Clagary before that then Raymond vs Clagary as well, if memory serves..
  11. Kesler beastin it, hope he gets the hatty. Should have been selfish on that feed from Tanev, looks like he had more room to shoot than he thought.
  12. Kassian is playing worse than any of those guys, and none of them seem to have problems putting up a few points. Weise has stepped up, Santo and Higgins are very adequate line mates. Defensively sound, good skaters and create a lot of chances. Playing with them is only an excuse for not scoring ppg numbers, but it isn't when he scores absolutely nothing. Ice time has to be earned, if he did everything else but score, he may get some looks ala Burrows and Higgy, but he doesn't. He can't even lay a body check.
  13. A lot of the moves made were pretty clearly heading to where we are now though.
  14. Booth hat trick, Edler domes Staal with a slap shot.
  15. Watching a lot of leafs games last couple years. JVR is such a boss, same size as Kass, but a much better skater and stronger on the puck. He can make plays off the rush, and parks his butt infront of the goalie getting tips and rebounds. That's the kind of player that should have been targeted, damn he would look good here. Can only hope Kass turns it up, but not looking very promising.
  16. You're assuming both our top C prospects make the team, neither are likely to be better options than Santo as rookies even if they did.
  17. Santo would probably be better than any prospect next year, could very well get better himself. Still young, local boy, hells yeah we should look to keep him.
  18. A lot of players his age or younger making impacts out there...
  19. Booth is outscoring Burr Weise and Tostitos outplaying Kassian Lack playing as good or better than Lu Tanev has been better than Hamhuis all year and last Twins are slipping down the scoring race None of these things should be happening.
  20. Kes has been playing well lately, but needs to pick up the scoring again. Has made some nice passes, still think him and Booth can work well together, Santo between em perhaps.
