  1. CFL is QB driven, a very different game. Plenty of NFL players that haven't cut it or wouldn't adapt well. PS; Woot, just opened my new orange Peyton Manning Jersey from mom n dad for my bday. Also have a Reebok blue Champ and white Eli. Von Millers next!
  2. It was the most entertaining MNF game all year. Playoff implications...sorta. Half a dozen turnovers, 94 yard TD, multiple chances for each team to take the lead and for the Jets to make a comeback. Hiliarious ending. WTF more do you want?
  3. I see a lot of Minny fans that would be down. Ponder is like the anti playmaker. The option would work, not all the time, but now and then. Get a good coach to run with it, like Shanahan.. boy you got yourself a stew! Always wanted a reason to buy a Minny jersey, their purples are sweet.
  4. I think he would suuckkkkkk so much in the CFL. Tebow needs his 3rd down. I think most NFL qb's would stink it up here. There is a big market for QB's right now though. Cardinals, Philly, Jags, Chiefs all have crap. Oakland and Chargers may be looking for a change. Pittsburgh has constantly been screwed by the lack of a quality backup ( i think this is Tebows best fit, him and Ben have lots of similarities and he could step in nicely should he get hurt). Green Bay showed interest, Bellichick was never shy about liking Tebow at the Draft, If Mcmidget gets a HC job there's a chance he may seek out his former 1st round pick. Ponders leash is getting shorter in Minnesota, Tebow and Harvin back together with AP is a tempting combination. The Viking also reportedly had interest in drafting him which is why Mcmidget moved up in the 1st. Someone will give him a shot. He needs to lose some weight though, he's gotten slow and more awkward. Jets turned him into a fridge. Drop down to 230, sweat the short game and footwork. Kick some butt in camp.
  5. Apparently if Mcelroy starts the last 2 games. Even Tebow has a limit, better to go somewhere where he can play QB, plenty of teams with a need and a shot to compete.
  6. I don't understand how someone can be so bad at their job and keep it. That snap at the end was bad, but Mark still caught it for a second then dropped it. 5 turnovers looooooooooool. I actually like the Jets but that was some funny stuff.
  7. 2005 rematch, Champ Bailey 100 yard pick on Brady!
  8. I feel dirty, find myself rooting for the Pats. I don't really want Denver to take the #2 seed, I hate bye weeks, don't think they're an advantage. Plus i just don't like going more than a week without watching my team. Then again i hate the idea of going to Foxboro after the wild card.................. okay, **** the Pats go 9ers!
  9. Ray Rice is clearly on the coaches stank list. Inside the 5, yea let's let Flacco throw it loooooloool. That Pick six is a 14 point swing, turned a competitive game into a Denver rolling. Moreno > Mcgahee, equal production, no daily fumbles and can actually catch. DAT HURDLE!!. Holliday still scary with ball security issues. I don't think Decker or Thomas have ever "stolen" a ball in their life. As soon they have to compete with another set of hands it's an auto incomplete. No picks from Peyton though, awee yea. Cripple fight later between KC and OAK.
  10. Don't mind the Thursday nighters. Yea it's a short week for the teams, but Boohooo. It's only once per season. Not all of the games are gonna be legit as they aren't scheduled on the fly. You can only watch so many games on Sunday with them being on at the same time, at least i get to see my team guaranteed on a headliner like TNF. Even if its a diluted game, it's fair. With the lockout I can't complain about a more spread out NFL schedule. Plenty of MNF & SNF games suck too.
  11. Pansy, total Pansy. Runs outta bounds, falls everytime he catches the ball so he doesn't have to get tackled. Never throws blocks and didn't fight for a single first down in his entire Denver career. Thoroughly enjoyed watching him suck on the Rams. Good hands tho.
  12. Hoped it wouldn't but figured this would happen. Denver's lives getting a lot harder by the quarter. Lloyd is such a pansy.
  13. Cardinals are bad. Really bad. Skelton, Lindley.....Never seen such a dysfunctional QB duo. Even Cassel and Quinn tower above those two. Made worse by the suckage of the rest of the team. Poor Fitz.
  14. Suggs will be out which will help. IMO Raiders hiring Allen was a mistake, their previous staff wasn't bad enough to warrant a change. Teams got wet off Denver's defensive turnaround ( 32nd -22nd ), completely ignoring that they were still a bottom 10 unit and allowed an ungodly amount of points on a regular basis. 40+ more than any other team in the league. I think Del Rio is better, but I was praying they would take Mccoy instead, what a complete tool. The guy basically handed his playbook to the opposing teams last year, and now he somehow does the impossible in making a Peyton freaking Manning lead offense impotent for half of each game. Hopefully he pulls a McDaniels and rides Manning's coattails into a HC job next season. Carson Palmer is a bum, not a bad Qb, just a complete bum. He's this years Kyle Orton. Looooser. Von Miller is good at football. Denver missing Kuper really showed, he ties that O-line together. The only guy Peyton is better at avoiding sacks than is Philip Rivers, that guys like the slowest human on earth. Kuper went down in week 16 last year and the O line was trash in the Playoffs vs NE, like a combo of this years Cardinals + Eagles 2nd stringers trash. Hopefully he's good to go soon. Rahim Moore is much improved, still has gaffes, but soooo much better than last year. Thomas is another big improvement, didnt think he would ever shake off the butterfingers, but he has. Going on a 6 or so game streak of legit play. Decker hasn't gotten any better. He's like a retarded Ed McCaffrey.
  15. Typical Broncos game, way too close at half, Von Miller beastin it, another Peyton interception.
  16. Would go a long way for the Chiefs to come out with a W tomorrow vs Carolina.
  17. Sproles stepping outta bounds half a yard shy of the 1st down like a lil girl. Cost em a shot to tie the game in the 4th. Unbelievable.
  18. Rodgers gettin discount double stomped. Awesome.
  19. Sanchez, wow. Most embarrassing play ever, got clotheslined by his linemans butt cheek. It was completely north south, not like that 300pound booty just appeared.
  20. Still not like it was in the Shanahan days where that wouldn't actually be a joke, but yes Ball and Hillman should be fine.
  21. Noshow Moreno time ..........................
  22. Lol yea, still can't believe they ain't played KC yet. As close to a guarantee as it gets in this league. As far as last years defence i wouldn't say they got worn down at all, yea they were on the field a lot, but that's what happens when you run the ball for 3 quarters. More damage was done through ground and pound to the opponents D than our own, especially at home. Denver's D, like it's Offense, stepped up huge late in games, they weren't gassed they were clutch. That was really their whole identity. Denver's O was very conservative and almost always left the D with a long field to defend. It was the 1st half vs the Pats that they allowed 5 td's despite only 1 midfield turnover. Now, Peyton, well he's gonna throw some picks with his style of play, today the O gave up 9 points. It doesn't kill the D personally, but give any decent opposing offense that kind of back up and look out. Good thing Rivers is a plug and throws like a girl. I don't like rankings because they lack context, the offense dictates the D so much. A high power passing team that puts up lots of points can afford to take high risk/reward plays on defense. Their D's will tend to rank high in pass rush and turnovers due to the risks the opponent takes and the fearlessness of blitzing players pinning their ears back. These D's will allow a ton of yards and in turn points, dropping their ranks, but as long as their offense does it's job they're golden. We saw this with the Pats, Packers and Saints D last year. Broncos have already lost 3 "shootouts" I like to think the Broncos are better today, but a front heavy schedule still worries me, especially if we are lookin at a wildcard bye week. Tampa and Baltimore will be a decent match, but not the "match-up" I really want to see. I don't really have an argument of Von over Watt, but screw it im allowed to be homer and it's close enough to go either way.
  23. Don't pay much attention to the ranks of defenses. Broncos raped the #1 D and then got absolutely tooled by the 30th last years playoffs. Hopefully it has just taken this long for their own D to "click" rather than later be inconsistent. I am hopeful though, the secondary looks sooooooo much better than last year. No more getting picked apart when the pass rush is struggling. The Pats D really stepped up last years playoffs, there isn't much in this world i enjoy more than watching the Pats lose, but they already have stomped Denver and I really want the Broncos D to be tested again before playoffs. No one left on their schedule is worth their salt. @ Canuckbeliever, saying Von Miller is the 2nd best D player in the league is ridiculous..... Swatt can shuv it, Von is #1! Seriously though the dude is not human. He is a QB sack/strip machine sent back in time to prove Cam's #1 overall pick a mistake.
