  1. If we're taking on OEL's salary, I'm giving them Juolevi + Eriksson + Virtanen + 3rd for OEL + Crouse The deal is awash cap wise, gets us out of that Virtanen contract meanwhile the Coyotes get some new blood that might fit in better with the group they have. He'll have more opportunities and may reach his potential elsewhere. That is, of course, if he stays in the NHL at all after the accusations that have come to light. If the first trade I proposed doesn't work then you go: Juolevi + Eriksson + Roussel + 2nd for OEL + Hayden Trade #2 gets the Coyotes
  2. Jeff Gorton is the perfect replacement for Benning. He could bring some really solid impact players in and makes us a top team within a couple of years.

I'd prefer to hire someone man enough to not distance himself from ownership standing up to the NHL.

people make mistakes. I want Gorton.

There's a difference between a mistake and a character issue that brings his manhood into question.  I want no part of that coward.

  3. I always liked the Comets name. They should call them the Abbotsford Comets in honor of the franchise's roots in Utica. Good luck to Robert Esche and the Utica Devils.
  4. Cole Caufield looks like he's going to be a star. GMJB outgm'd again

@logic Many of the fans here are relying on hindsight to make their judgements... We are a brainless fanbase sometimes.

Folks I was just kidding you all need to relax. It's like a shark den on here.

I loved the Podkolzin pick I really think he'll work out well for a 10OA

  5. I think the Kraken should think about recruiting a guy like Josh Ho-Sang. In his draft -1 year he was looking one of the top guys in his draft year. He still ended up being a 1st rounder, and put up 12 points in 22 games in 2017-2018. I know that's just a sample size but this guy is so talented. McDavid said Ho-Sang was one of his best all-time teammates before he made it to the show. He goes to this new Seattle team, who could have a shot at bringing in some good young players. It'll probably take them five years to build into the team that Vegas became in their first season, but
  6. Lets just trade teams while we're at it.
  7. I want Thornton to win one even though he played for the Sharks for years. But Toronto winning? Idk. I wouldn't mind Montreal winning one. They're a good young team I think they're a tier above us honestly while I think we're competitive with Calgary and Ottawa. Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg are definitely better than us though.
  8. I don't think he's coming. I won't eat my words if I'm wrong, but from what I heard and saw while he was here (and after) really makes me doubt it.
  9. Killorn would be an idiot to refuse a trade to Detroit, especially if Tampa wins another cup this year. Killorn will receive better minutes in Detroit and although he's on the older end Detroit can trade him for additional assets in two years. If they're good enough, they can use him for a playoff run. They won't be good enough and I suspect they land one of the good young forward in the 2022 draft. Seattle will definitely take Johnson. He was previously a 72-point player, all the Lightning need to do is cough up a prospect to get them to take him. Meanwhile, depending
  10. She said she didn't like the smell of pot. This is one of the Marijuana capitols of the world, they aren't coming back. Neither should he as he's carved out a nice career in Russia. I don't know how much he is making in Russia but does he leave his young family for slightly greener pastures? Does he even want to come back here? Was he even that good besides that one clip against Anaheim? I mean he played on the bottom pairing. The guy was a third round pick that our GM absolutely nailed. We got more out of him than you'd get out of an average third rounder. Tryamkin's already 26,
  11. He's 26, he's played the last four years in Russia and his wife didn't take to our city. He's not coming back and I don't think he should.
  12. I'm sick and tired of people saying we need to bring back Tryamkin. He sucked when he was here, he's at best a #6 guy and we've already got a big man in Tyler Myers. Obviously Tryamkin is more of a defensive guy but he sucks. Benning picked him because he was BPA, we got some good mileage out of him serving in a depth role but now it's time to move on.
  13. It's "Hamonic" not "Harmonic" you've got it wrong in your sig as well
  14. I've always been high on Zacha especially in his draft year but we'd probably need to give the Devils a 2nd rounder to facilitate that, if not more
  15. I don't understand why you think that Jack would sign here just because we have Luke and Quinn. If I were a pro hockey player and my siblings played for a team, let's say Calgary for instance, I'd probably sign in Florida so I could see them as little as possible. Just my $0.02
  16. Nick Bonino is a standout for me. He's better than Sutter he always has been. We traded Bones for Sutter sacrificing like $2 million in cap space in the process when we could've held on to Bonino and traded him for some picks. Bringing him back in, I feel, would be very beneficial. Especially considering he put up 39 points in his first year here on that gosh-awful second line with Burrows or Higgins or Vrbata or whoever played there all I know is was complete $&!#. Anyway, getting back to the heart of the thread. Lets say we trade Motte for a second r
  17. Baertschi and Roussel have no value, Benn has very little while Sutter and Edler could probably fetch a second or a third
  18. I would only move Motte if I could get a 1st back for him like San Jose got for Goodrow, Devils got for Coleman and many other examples. Motte has the potential to be just as good as both these players.
  19. They have to do something to get out from under that Price contract but they also need to find a replacement. To me, trading Price allows Montreal to re-sign Danault, Suzuki and Kotkaniemi and get a younger goalie in there to support their young core. Price would be a great guy to support Seattle as they follow a different path than Vegas did. Obviously, teams are going to be a lot more conservative this expansion draft but cap space is going to be a premium and Seattle has a a lot of it. I really don't think Seattle will be as successful out of the gate as the Golden Knights but they'll be re
