  1. 3-1 Jed. That was nearly a 10-8 round.
  2. She's already slowing down because of the hits and kicks she keeps taking from Jed.
  3. If Texas had the new rule set in force, the first knee would have been totally legal. As with everything though, Texas is slow so they are fighting under the old rules.
  4. You got boned by the referee. Technically Poirier should have won by DQ since both knees were illegal, not just the second one.
  5. I almost forgot about UFC 211 tonight!
  6. AMD finally catches up to Intel with their Ryzen CPUs so what does Intel do? Say hello to the new i9 chips with up to 12 cores and quad-channel DDR4 support! http://hothardware.com/news/monster-intel-12-core-i9-7920x-leaked
  7. The talent, especially in the women's divisions is constantly increasing. It amazes me how much better the women have gotten in a few short years.
  8. Like many of the fighters have been saying in their pressers since Conor came on the scene and took over, the money follows the entertainers and if they want the big contracts and the cash that goes along with it, they need to do more than just compete. They have to put on a show. Depending on your point of view, that means that the sport is either evolving or devolving. Personally, as long as the matches are good, I don't care.
  9. The new owners had to go into debt and take on many investors, including well-known athletes and celebrities, to scrounge up over $4 Billion to buy the UFC. They're going to money grub at every turn that they can. Most money is made on the casual fans and casual fans like spectacles and popular fighters like GSP. There are many more casual fans than there are hardcore.
  10. It turns out that Steve Harvey is as big of a d-bag as I always thought he was...

I prefer the original host, Richard Dawson.  He was a creepy perv with the ladies on the show and totally got away with it.  He'd kiss guy's wives on the lips right in front of them. B)

Sorry @Alflives.  Forgot to tag you in the above post.

Well I agree with @Down by the River as well. He just wants some time and space and doesn't want distractions along with the fact that he just says it in a demanding way. Either way hopefully he continues to be a good guy as @Alflives mentioned, he is Family Feud

  11. Tyson Barrie injured while "wrestling" teammate in hotel room.

Team Canada just lost Barrie.  Next time maybe he can just bring his "teammate" to dinner and a movie instead of getting all sweaty and rolling around on the floor with him.

I remember traveling with my Pee wee team, and we wrestled all the time.  Maybe these guys are still having little kids' kind of fun?

This is what happens when you play on the worst team in the NHL.......interesting. Who was the teammate?

They didn't say who the teammate was.

  12. Nooooo!  Canada has made it into the 3rd round. :frantic:

Canada always makes it to the cup, we're the majority of players on every team! Burr nets the cup winner, if OTT makes it to the finals, I'll bet you a coke.

Your Coke vs. my Crystal Beach Loganberry.  It's a Buffalo thing.

  13. It was an issue with all of the ones based completely off of the reference card. Unfortunately EVGA was one. Still a very good card though.
  14. Yeah, skimping with inferior memory with the last chip was ridiculous. Did you end up with one of the manufacturers who did that?
  15. The 970 is a good card for 1080p gaming. It should give you at least a couple more years of usefulness as long as you have at least 4gb of memory on it which was standard with those.
  16. Product replacement on anything chip (solid state) based is often a waste of money. Be careful installing the CPU and RAM on your motherboard and keep your components cool with proper cooling and air circulation and they'll last a long time. If you get a lemon, you'll know fairly quickly and it will still be covered under the store and/or manufacturer warranty that comes with the component. If you're going to build a full system from scratch then there are certain things like an expensive 4k monitor that it isn't a bad idea to get a little extra coverage past the manufacturers warranty.
  17. Looks like Jason Botterill will be the next Sabres GM.  I'll bet he doesn't end up ranked last. :P:lol:

If he had played in Buffalo they probably would have hired him instead of LaFontaine 2.5 years ago. B)

@SabreFan1 no I know you're not a hater. The relationship btw the media and the Canucks is very weird. In Toronto, its all sunshine all the time and they question why every other team doesn't do it they way they do  Hockey Night in Canada has become almost unwatchable due to that.

Fortunately the only media I have to expose myself to in regards to the Canucks is the online Vancouver media.  If I get annoyed with it, I can just click off the browser.

The Sabres are on the MSG network so they get to hire their own people.
