In regards to the NHL and NFL in Buffalo, the 1.1 million doesn't tell the whole story. Both Buffalo teams draw from the Rochester area as well as a good number of people from Southern Ontario. When it comes to the NHL though Toronto draws people from all over Eastern Canada. It drives me nuts when I go to a Sabres game in First Niagara Center and the Toronto cheers are just as loud and oftentimes louder than the Sabres cheers. Unfortunately too many Sabres season ticket holders sell their Toronto tickets to Leafs fans for crazy high prices in order to subsidize the overall cost of their season ticket book.

Buffalo is nothing like Detroit or Flint. There are very few, if any parts of the U.S. that are that bad. Detroit is in bankruptcy for more than one reason. Small parts of the outlying ares of Buffalo are rundown. Buffalo as a whole is far from being a dump. As to being aesthetically pleasing, Buffalo has held onto it's early 20th century buildings made by such famous architects as Frank LLoyd Wright, as well as other great 20th century architects. The Harbor region is woefully under developed unfortunately. I wish they would knockdown the grain silos all along the river. People want to keep them because Buffalo has the most in the country. They're a remnant left of over from more than a century. They need to be knocked down so the land can be put to better use. For better or worse Buffalo is very attached to it's history. Bills players drive all over the place to shop. Toronto just has more upscale stores and more places to shop by virtue of being the fourth largest city in North America. If I was a millionaire, I'd take trips up there also. Buffalo's economy was seriously in the crapper for decades, but it has turned around in the last few years. The city is finally shifting its focus from large industry to more of a service and bioinformatics economy. Unemployment was under the national average during the whole recent Great Recession. On top of that, recently NY State and some large companies have and are pumping in roughly $2-$3Billion in a relatively short amount of time. I could continue to spout Buffalo's virtues, but nobody here would want to read it all. Economically and modernity, Toronto is a city that a good number of cities in NA aspire to be. Is it better than Buffalo? That would depend on the person. As for an NFL team location, that point is now moot. Western NY and Southern Ontario do a fine job of supporting the Bills and keeping the stadium full and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

That's going to be incredibly difficult for that woman to prove. As far as I know though, he hasn't been charged with anything. He's just being sued by a woman for $1million. That's civil, not criminal. If she can prove it though then Jerry Jones would be in serious criminal trouble since there is no statute of limitations on sexual assault in Texas.

Toronto really needs to let the football world know that it is not interested in the NFL. If the factions in Toronto keep trying to get one, they eventually will. If that happens then the Argos could easily end up having to fold as a result. It would be a shame if the CFL didn't have a team representing the biggest city in Canada.

Did anybody see Roberto Luongo's tweet about Chicago knocking him out of the survivor pool?

Buffalo and New York State is spending hundreds of millions of dollars renovating and/or building the Bills a new stadium to keep our franchise. Now it looks like the NFL may end up building Los Angeles a brand new stadium for free! On top of that, the league is looking to relocate both the St. Louis Rams and Oakland Raiders back to LA. The NFL really really wants that juicy TV money. http://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/nfl-l-tinseltown-about-land-two-pro-football-teams-n196921

I'm old enough to remember the then-WWF promoting the living daylights out of it during every wrestling show on tv that they did. The guy who played Zeus even became a wrestler for a while after the film debuted. This was the WWF's/WWE's first blockbuster movie. It was weird even back in the 80's. Anybody who likes 80's cheesy movies will get a kick out of this one. Go back a little before that and you can find WWF's first foray into the music world where they had wrestlers and their managers actually singing songs on audio tapes.

November Man - 8/10 Pierce Brosnan is pretty good in this movie. Exciting and action packed.

The torrent for it is already up if you want to watch it before you buy it. DVDs usually pop up to download about a month before they are released in the stores.

Depends on if I think that the third movie would be any good. What hurt the sequel was the poor word of mouth it got after premiering. It was a very mediocre effort.

Chloe Grace Moretz said a day or two ago that she doesn't think that they will be making a Kick-Ass 3. She blames piracy of the movie. That's odd because the movie made over $60million and it only cost them $28million to make it not including the cost of advertising. They will also make profit from the sale of DVDs.

The Buffalo Bill's fans boo'd the team off the field in the first half of their game and it's spilled over onto Twitter because more than 1 Bills player is partially blaming the fans for their poor showing. Sports fans here in Buffalo are getting a tad moody.... lol People are complaining about the possibility of losing the team and then they go to a friggin' pre-season game and boo when the starters lay an egg in the first half. This city is goofy sometimes. Marquise Goodwin (wide receiver) is trolling the fans big time and vice versa... https://twitter.com/flashgoodwin One of the Buffalo New's reporters has been retweeting fan's "The last time the Bills made the playoffs" jokes... https://twitter.com/TBNbucky

You wish who would give up the rights? Disney bought Marvel quite some time ago. http://waltdisneystudios.com/corp/unit/246

It's going back to normal once the real season starts, and no, the 2 point conversion is still at the 1 yrd. line.

AWESOME NEWS!! I hope he stays cancer free. Two separate occurrences in one year is more than one person should have to go through. http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/no-sign-of-cancer-in-jim-kelly-s-follow-up-exam-082014

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 4.5/10 Terrible writing, directing, and acting. Don't waste your money.

Surprisingly it's still alive. I'll give it credit, it's like a cornered badger, it will fight tooth and nail right up until the end.

Wow, Terry Pegula's bid and the Buffalo Bills' iron clad lease has pretty much beaten back any serious bidding on the team. It's now being reported that both Trump and Bon Jovi's group put in bids that were only between $850M and $900M dollars. Trump was full of BS when he told Al Michaels that he offered 1 Billion. Pegula's bid has been confirmed by the same sources as being between $1.1B - $1.3B. Unless a surprise bid comes in from an LA group, the Bills are most definitely staying in Buffalo. Ralph Wilson definitely knew what he was doing when he had his lawyers draft up that lease in 2011.

Edge of Tomorrow - 7.5/10 It would have been between an 8-8.5 if the ending wasn't so unsatisfying. I hate when writers and directors do a poor job with the ending of their films.

Guardians of the Galaxy - 8.5/10

That contract is incredibly ridiculous....

Don't forget the Hall of Fame game tonight between the Bills and Giants. 8 est/5 pst
