  1. He can replace the underperforming injury prone tackle you got from my team last year.
  2. Ed Oliver went right to the Bills fans in the crowd after going on-stage. I love it.
  3. Or traded back up into the bottom 10 of the 1st round.
  4. Why does Gruden hate his own team?
  5. C'mon 8est/5pst, get here faster already! I want to see who gets whom!
  6. Nope. It's Toronto. They meant to say it that way. They even repeat it in the story.
  7. According to Toronto's newspaper, the Leafs beat themselves 5-1. https://torontosun.com/sports/hockey/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs/simmons-leafs-eliminate-themselves-in-game-7
  8. The issue came in when Hair Gel took responsibility with the previous Filipino president and then again after Duterte was elected. After that, Canada as a country became responsible for what the Canadian company did. That said, Duterte threatened to go on a Chinese suicide mission not too long ago so I wouldn't be too concerned. The only attack I can see him carrying out would be to put the garbage on a large junk barge, sail it into Canadian waters and setting it on fire.
  9. I'll bet all of the Leafs fan's tears from last night's playoff ending loss could make that garbage squeaky clean!
  10. It also leaves out the fact that Trudeau twice previously said that Canada was going to take back the trash. http://nine.cnnphilippines.com/news/2017/11/14/Canada-Philippines-Trudeau-trash-garbage.html Violent, bullying, wasteful Canada...
  11. Also, Duterte better watch his a*s. Canada may not have a world class military, but it most certainly has some of the best special forces available. If PM Hair Gel ever gave the order, he'd soon be pushing up daisies.
  12. Congress can force the US to war if the need ever arose. Technically, the president isn't supposed to unilaterally start aggression against other countries. That's just another power that the Congress has partially ceded to the executive branch. https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/war_powers
  13. Robert Kraft should have taken the prosecution's deal and just paid the fine and done community service/probation. He played with fire in an attempt to get his video suppressed and will now get burned once his trial is over... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/04/23/judge-orders-eventual-release-of-kraft-video/
  14. If all the Canucks needed was 1 player to get into contention for the Cup, I'd likely agree. Problem is that the Canucks need several more players to get into contention and losing the next 4 first round picks would not only hurt the big club, but it would put a dent in the minor league affiliated clubs as well.
  15. I feel so dirty cheering for Boston to win.

@Jimmy McGill It's still too close for comfort, but that's how much I dislike the Leafs.  The Leafs are my least favourite followed by Boston.

    4. Rick Blight

      Yup, me too

  16. The cap will continue to go up every year, so the Canucks will be fine. There will be plenty of space to sign both EP40 and Quinn Hughes.
  17. Getting shot in the arm is nicer than getting shot in the stomach, but still I'd rather not have either one happen to me.
  18. .903 save% is anything but nice. He's not a good goalie.
  19. Cayden Primeau is an AHL goalie. Pickings were apparently a bit slim for the USA. I'll be disappointed if Demko doesn't win the starter position over those 2.
  20. How do you tastefully release video of an old man spooging on a young asian girl's hand? I just hope someone makes a hilarious meme of it. Something like superimposing Tom Brady's head over hers and blurs out the naughty bits.
  21. That's not how offer sheets work. You don't choose the compensation. It's pre-determined. The level that involves two 1st rounders also includes a 2nd and 3rd. Here's last year's table: Offer Sheet (AAV) Compensation $1,339,575 or below None Over $1,339,575 to $2,029,59 3rd Over $2,029,59 to $4,059,322 2nd Over $4,059,322 to $6,088,980 1st, 3rd Over $6,088,980 to $8,118,641 1st, 2nd, 3rd Over $8,118,641 to $10,148,302 (2) 1st, 2nd, 3rd Over $10,148,302 (4) 1st
